Hello all, I need your advise to buy a used car. I have N1 million but can easily make it N1.2 mil. I´ve used Nissan Maxima 1998 model before and have also used a Nissan Primera, so I like and am comfortable with Nissan products. If I can buy a new car, I would but I doubt my budget can get that. Kindly give me your take on what kind of car my money can fetch and which can last me hopefully for another 7 years. I have in mind Nissan Maxima 2002, Nissan Altima, Toyota Corolla 2001, Toyota Camry 2001. I live in Lagos. Thanks for your help all!

Bros 1.2million wont buy an avensis, ohhh(what year exactly ?) . a toyota camry 2001 is a good car but u may have to up your money because u can only get a very good '98 model camry for that price. Again r u considering cars frm cotonou? that can really be stressfull.

Nissan Maxima and Toyota Camry are reliable cars in the same category. I can get you a well maintained used 99 Camry or Maxima for about 900K to Lagos, you will be responsible for clearing. Let me know. I'm a licensed US car dealer. Rav4 can't land in Lagos for less than 1.5m, except it is stolen or lemon.

Thanks all. I got a 98 Camry with only 80,000 miles. I've used it now since September 2006 and it's in top shape.
