Bank PHB: Where Is My £100?
« on: November 27, 2008, 01:41 PM »

A brother of mine recommended PHB diaspora current account to me. He said I can even assess my a/c online. I thought wonderful! Nigeria we hail thee! what happened afterwards is still beyond my comprehension.

I contacted their agent on phone on the 2/10/2008. basically he said it will take 7-10 working days and the a/c will be up and running. I thought great! the guy sounded professional and cultured. He told me to send a copy of my passport and 2 copies of my proof of address. I send these by speedpost on the 3/10/2008. Being proactive in everything I do I calledhim on d 7th day just to make sure that he had received the docs and get an update. To my surprise he said he hasn't even checked his post yet.he promised to do so & callme back the following day . he didn't call. I thought Busy and a high flyer. On the 11th day I called his office and his office assistant said he had travelled shepromised to relay my message to him and also get him to call me. I didn't hear anything till on the 7th day I called and MR highflyer picked up the phone. He apologised and promised to process my application immediately. on the 22/10/2008 I received an email from PHB stating my account no and other relevant details.
They promised to send me my internet access code shortly. after another 7 days I called the agent , he suggested that i contactED the person who sent me the email but promised to chase it up for me.

By this time I had come to the understanding that I must handle this matter the same way I used to deal with difficult customers who do not want to pay. before i forget bythistime I have already paid £100 as opening deposit and £30 admin fee. I recieved my access code on the 03/11/2008. I accessed the account but was told I had no money in the account. I thought HABA! WHERE IS MY £100.

Anyway after a lot of telephony chasing I got a call from PHB that my account is in crd. I thought at least I got what
I wanted. To my horror. I tried to gain access to the account via the internet to no avail up till this very momment of typing this letter.

Haba my brother how I For do? can someone advice may be I have done something wrong.
