This telenovela is all about the fools' paradise. just like Diego and paloma were innocently foolish and were manipulated by many people close to them, but they finally triumphed. So would Luisa Fernanda Perez and Carlos Eduardo Gomez would play the fool too in this soap, but they would finally triumph like Paloma and Diego.

nigerian movies are the crappest in africa.  just because they are popular doesn't make them great. they are technically shite (crap sound quality, lack of skill in cameras, poor makeup that messes up the actresses complexions- i refuse to believe that omotola has such nasty skin), poorly scripted, poorly casted, and uninnovative.  if i see one more story about a wicked mother in law who makes life for her son's wife a living hell, only realising her error when it is too late, but finding god in the end. i will vomit (i don't say this lightly) i havent vommed for 12 years.

how you can even compare them to south african movies and look at yourself in the mirror disturbs me.  we have a long way to go before one of our movies will even be nominated for an academy award.

The woman of my life is a long soap and it is shown on Galaxy , 8-9pm daily.  Ghana started gardener's daughter 6 weeks ago, they are abouit 25 episoides ahead of us. Our malaysian friends have watched the gardener's daughter since 2004 they should have the complete summaries. I have contacted one of them for summaries. as soon as she sends me, i would definitely make it available on our darling Nairaland here.

Thursday's summary and all 8 episodes so far are on my little blog http://gardenersdaughter(dot)blogspot(dot)com dedicated to those who miss the real live action on AIT TV.
thanks.

i watch TV a lot

so i would saay that there are good dramas on TV all the one produced by WALE ADENUGA are good although papa ajasco is a bit lame. then there's EVERYDAY PEOPLE, DOMINO, DEAR MOTHER, EDGE OF PARADISE, and even SHALLOW WATERS and I NEED TO KNOW. the rest are not worth there airtime we had better programs in the eighties and nineties check topic NIGERIA TV PROGRAMS FROM THE PAST.

All that said CUANDO SEAS MIA was great just like the old telenovelas of secrets of the sand , rich also cry,etc even men were hooked on them.

however i think those who bring these telenovelas in should research better abeg because to be honest Woman of my Life,All about camilla and Lorenzos wife are rubbish compared to WUAM. Especially the voiceovers they are mixed racecs and accents that its ridiculous.

the only reason i gave GARDENERS DAUGHTER  a chance was because its voiceovers were better and it really looks interesting b

Has anyone noticed that the voiceover for LUIS FERNANDO is the same voice of DIEGO

also the voice of AMELIA'S sister (don't know her name) is that of PALOMA

AMELIA'S is that of BARBARA

seriously listen well and u'll recognise the voiceovers

You have a point salsera.

that was the reason for our initial excitement during the adverts, we thought that paloma, matilde and other great actors and actresses from WUAM would feature in TGD. We were pleasantly surprised when the real action began and  found out that those voices were not those whom we used to know. LOL

the voice stuff is that of an interpretation and not the real people i beleive if we hear the real thing we will never forgivee ait for that it's normal because that how interpretations of movie are being made!tak kia  guys bye

Re: The Gardener's Daughter: TV Soap Opera

we know the voices are of interpreters better still voiceovers because the lines are already interpreted and then they hire artists to act it out in English language.

so the better the voiceovers the better we all enjoy the soap because bad voiceovers are just as bad as bad acting.

hey guys i just found out that "the gardeners daughter" aint old. I t infact started shooting sometime in 2003 as against WUAM that started shooting in 2001 and was completed later. Also remember that it takes sometime to do the voice-over in order for us to get the english version and other languages too. I think AIT is moving foward its a really good show!!!

hey there! the reason why the voices seem to be the same is probably because the operas were produced by the same tv house(azteca)and they had to use the same interpreters.i  ant wait to see fabian again.

carlos is the 'main' guy the doctor who's interested in Louisa fernandez the gardeners daughter

about him being too old for her my sister mentioned the same thing the girl in question is about 16 years old whilst the bros is a doctor albeit an intern. I personally found his comments about being attracted to her innocence a little off. For crying out loud the girl is a teen of course she would be innocent and the longer she stays with you the less innocent she'll be.

Our Mr Carlos is kissing Miss schoolgirl in one part of town whilst still having sex with the older 'experienced' girlfriend somewhere else.   Huh Huh Huh
