Pictures On the New 1,000 Naira Note
« on: September 28, 2005, 05:35 PM »

The subject of who appears on the country's currency is always a debate between verious ethnics'.  People from the Niger/Delta have been complaining that there is non of their heroes on any of our currency even though majority of the country's derivation is coming from that area.

Who do u think will be on the N1,000 note.... or will it be like N50, that the tribes will appear on it?

I don't think he could. If he do, then it will be because of the 1993 election. Nothing else.

Yeah, IMO, the note sucks. Drab shit, sucking like a vacuum and having two past CBN governors on it. Who the hell are they anyway? I mean, as regards great people who have left their prints on the sands of time of Nigeria.

Whether we have OBJ, MKO or who so ever. I just want to have enuogh of it that all. I don't care if it is dull or not. I pray to have sufficient amount of the month.

I think the reason it looks dull here is that there are security measures built into the note so that, if you try to scan it or copy it, your copy would look very different from the real thing.

It looks like Euro to me only that I cant see why it's needed now. Is it not for someone to claim unnecessary history as the creator of the currency? I'll have trillion of it anyway.

I'd ve been happy about it tho' I am. Roll Eyes

Looters are happy. They can't wait to have the dough in circulation.

Switzerland will get better. Foreign banks will smile more heartily. Nigerians will cry more looking for their money.

it does look dull though and blurry. but i think the choice of cbn past guv'nors is a bit absurd?Huh help me.....but come to think of it who shold have graced the 1000 naira note? some political faggots whose third and fourth generation are gearing up to take over political mantle?

spare me.....i think the note sucks! but who cares.let's get paid in 1000 naira bills.but God help u if one piece is missing or stolen!

It's not enough to pray for it. If you don't work for it (legally), your prayer will just be more or less like a wasted effort.

Prayer without Work is Dead Wink
