Whether it was a set-up or not, i'm of the view that she has made a grave mistake-considering our values system as Africans ! She couldn't have allowed a second person access to the pictures. I would advise her to adjust her privacy protection policy if ever she has any !

no offense to those people saying its true, but i have seen a movie, bout this gurl who was a pastor's daughter, it was clear in her school that she was a christain, but one day, there were nude pictures of her spreading around, even though there was no evidence to prove that she didnt do it, every one knew that she didnt do it, plus i have witnessed set ups like this before, did u c one of the pics, where it looks like her head was put on her body, i play this game online, wher u dress up barbie dolls, and u choses their hairstyles, and stuff like that, and put it in their body of ur own choosing, with this is experience, when u say it was a computer set up, i will agree with you  |

If it happens there, its a kind of their tradition, but here NO NO NO NO. So you have to do things according to the traditions of the PLACE you find yourself. If you are a NIGERIAN, please marry a fellow MAN and bring HIM to your MUM and DAD. At least is tenable over there, You can equally do it. Yesterday, I watched a film in which Anita starred! Ironically posing nude may increase her "popularity". Ordinarily I wouldnt have cast a second look at that movie (Idont generally like Nigerian home movies) but the Anita kept me glued to that film for complete 2 mins!More Actresses should pose nude.  |

So I have read, reread and over-read this post, and have decided it is time for me to add my two-bits.
While I do not in any way, shape or fashion condone nudity in photography, I must however, pause for a while and examine the circumstances surrounding this obvious dilemma.
Subject to correction: but weren't the photos taken by her fiance?
Weren't the photos taken in the privacy of her own home?
Then why due to someone's greed, her privacy was invaded and to add insult to injury use as a means of extorting money from her?
She did not pose for those photos in some "john's" brothel, and I am livid that she had to suffer as a result of someone's stupidity.
Please leave Anita alone, we have more serious problems to worry about in this cruel world.

Point is I don't need to be prying into what someone did with their personal life/time to start judging. Any without sin, cast the first stone. It's high time WE stop being judgemental and start being productive. Am done with this and once again, leave the girl alone. Aren't there more serious issues in your country that should warrant your attention? Like corruption, poverty etc? Anita isn't a saint, so stop chastising her for not living up to anyone's expectations. Take the speck out of your own eye before you attempt to remove it from your peers. |
