What Is The Best Way To Dump Someone?
« on: September 29, 2005, 11:46 AM »

Please share your skills, styles and experiences [on How to Dump Someone].

I usually go with "We need to talk... I just don't think we appreciate the same things anymore... You may not see it now but this is the best thing for both of us. Stay in touch Undecided

And I was once texted "Welcome to Dumpsville population YOU! Don't call my number again. I mean it you sick f**k".

That was a due to (at best description) an emotionally stunting, hygienically questionable proposition I made a very long time ago. I have since learned the error of my ways. (we're friends now) Grin

hmmm,i think the best way to dissociate yourself from your partner is by employin a good element of diplomacy and maturity.

U dont just wake up oneday, open ya trap and voice out anything dat comes out of it,stuffs like
"i dont want u anymore",stop calling me ",it cant work out anymore".More or less ya style (as u mentioned earlier)"we need to talk", i think is a very good way to begin the ditchin thing. Smiley

I think the best way is to seat the person in question down have a heart to heart talk with him or her, though it hurts but then the truth has to be told.

The best way is to tell the person off, and ignore.dont pick up calls from him/her,dont reply mails, always tell them off when they say something to u,and look at them in a weird way.

thats not nice latoya if you dont want to be with the person say so its bad enuf that whatever he or she u had is going to end does the person have to go through additional humiliation possibly if things had not been going too well he or she is  likely to have picked up some vibes and just maybe a nasty break-up could be avoided. sad as it is things some things have to end

its not a question of whether there is any delight in it; its more like what delight would you get from staying in a relationship when u dont really want to be there?

Change your character towards the person. Try and sound more like brother or sister. E.g. she comes (if the person is a female), you call her sister disguisingly, asking about daddy and mummy, telling her u'll visit them one day. If she tries to sound personal, you'll treat her with reluctance. Insist on this altitude till she finds you boring to her liking. She might even take u for a mugu ( l o l)

Just the modified version of "It's not you it's me". That line works for everybody.. just make it sound like... u the one with problems.

If i personally want to break up with a girl i l be like: girl,i have to say that i m lucky to have you as a close friend.your one kind of person any man will want.your so real and i dont ever wish to let any other man steal you from me. But girl i was thinking.wouldnt it be perfect if we sat down to really deliberate things before pushing this our relationship further cos obsessions of you might run me crazy one day...anyways,being a considerate guy as you know,i l like to be truthful on the point that your so special, even too special for me to have you. And dont put any blame on yourself for any reason cos you v not done anything wrong. Its just me thats the burden... I hope u l give this a good thought girl. I m sorry that i had to tell you wats real but whatever be your reply girl, just have it in mind that your a special person and one person the world wont say 'no' to...i am afraid but your too unique for me... Remain blessed.

You bet she wont believe its a break up strategy but with you playing your cards well ,in the long run,she will not be as close as usual and at the same time, she wouldnt dislike you totally...its a two way thing

Lizzy that is very funny.lol.
The best way is say 'i am sorry things aint working out well' and if the person is trying to be a smartass by asking questions then u can apply HA's idea of 'FXVK YOU, THIS IS OVER!'

You'll break the relationship that way but, is not very good telling someone you've loved before >mess you. Satan himself will be surprise at your heartlessness.
