LoveAlways, I've never stated that there weren't any pretty faced African women,  I was just simply stating that overall,  they aren't as highly present amongst the African population as is the case with black-american's. This means that one would find a higher percentage of good looking women amongst the 23Million or so,  Black-American women in the world than one would find amongst the 500Million or so,  African women in the world. Now when you get down to individual groups the percentages may drop drastically and or rise significantly,  in that some African ethnic groups tend to have better genes for facial and body physique than others.

By the way, as an black-american woman,  you know well that most of those women you've post would be subliminally placed within the black-american population in that their looks are an everyday, 24 hour a day average appearance within the black-american ethnic group,  in that we tend to have a high propensity for beauty within our stock (I'd bet most are South Eastern Nigerian). We were (sorry to put it like this) breed by past perverted slave masters and after slavery ourselves to be this way to such a high level,  via subliminal (non-continuous thought carried over from the plantation days) and pointed (purposeful) selective breeding. Nearly 500 years of these selective habits have lead to who we are and how we look and think today in regard to what is beautiful and what isn't amongst a black people. The closer a black person is to the typical average appearance that resembles us or our established idea of black beauty then the more beautiful they'll appear to us. 

Certain African groups hold appearance in which are very foreign to us and thus our mind registers them as being ugly, while some other African ethnics,  like the Igbo for an example, have typical looks in which are very common to us and thus our minds register that they are a much more beautiful groups of people than let's say,  the Yoruba who tend to have looks in which aren't typically so common amongst us.

I'd bet most of those girls you've posted come from small handful of 2 or 3 groups,  and some are of some generational non-African mixture obviously. Though I see you've collected their pics from a Nigerian sight,  and thus I can conclude by just looking at them that the majority of them are either Igbo and or of another close related South Eastern Nigerian ethnic distinction,  though a few are obviously from the South West,  and they show more beauty in the body figure than in the face. This is typical.

Funny you posted pictures of women who are in entertainment and have access to a huge amount of money. Not disputing you o, how can I? Of course you are right, we Africans are out of this world ugly.

I've already posted a whole page of regular ol black-American women who just so happen to be trying their hands out at modeling. All of those women and even the famous ones I posted have looks in which are all very extensively found amongst the average overall Black-American population. Their looks are not uncommon amongst the group to the slightest degree. Actually they are not even nearly representative of the best amongst the group. They all would be placed averagely amongst the group in that we have many extremely good looking women and men amongst us who are not in modeling. I see them everyday out on the streets and even in my very own office building.

I'm Igbo and i still think your insulting Nigerians by saying we have to look like you guys to be considered beautiful.  I'm beautiful and i don't think i look AA; i think i look like a Nigerian Igbo than a African-American and what is all this about Yoruba's being ugly. Umm Abiola Bashorun, Omowunmi Akinnifesi,  Yomi Abiola (the girl in the video posted) are all Yoruba's and they are beautiful. And before you start that claim they mixed up with other tribes in Nigeria, ehh your wrong only Yomi Abiola is the only one who have mixed up(her mother is not Yoruba). Omowunmi is 100% Yoruba and she's prettier than Yomi.  Omotola Jalade is Yoruba also and she's beautiful too.  Every tribe in Nigeria has beautiful people from Igbo to Hausa to fulani to Yoruba to Ijaw, etc. So stop trying to discriminate people. 

And by the way half of those movie stars have done face lift and nose job.

Pointless thread.

I've seen loads of ugly AA women. I've also seen many beautiful AA women. Same for African ladies. It's even on both sides.

I mean, I could use the fact that as many as 78% of African American women are overweight (almost half of AA ladies are obese) to trump this thread, but I realize that to a reasonable extent, weight has little bearing on physical attractiveness/beauty. It's the same for African ladies - their not looking like African American women does not exclude them from the sexy club.

Nigerian women don't need to use so much cosmetics and surgery yet they are always marvellous.
