So what is wrong with wearing a bikini at the beach Like some body rightly said there is a dress for every occassion and place. It will be stupid to wear a bikini along the street but how cute will you be if you choose to wear a pair of jeans trousers inside a spa or in a swimming pool ? For those of you who swim in swimming pools what do you wear, shorts, trousers or swim suit ? Lets stop all this noise about we are Nigerians and African stuff. Bikini is meant for the beach and if you are going to the beach and feel comfortable with your body wear one. It is not compulsory but lets not tie it to culture As for the religious aspect, just know why you are doing what you are doing. Beach is for swimming and relaxing. If you plan to swim there wear what you can use for swimming , such as bikins and swim suits but if you are not planning to swim then you may not want to bother with a bikini. As for me, I will be happier with that girl who knows what to wear in the right place and for the right occassion. I think as Nigerians we are either just a bit too hypocrtical or simpy too scared to reveal our true self for fear of going against cultural and religious norms. I don't care much for primitive culture neither do I bother with religious norms that are not biblically founded.

Nigerians and their twisted male mentality
we are talking bikinis at the beach and somebody is already preaching husband this and Body is a temple that. the vey same line of argument
Is the male body not also a 'Temple' too. I don't hear people say that or is the body beign a temple only 4 Females
I hate Nigerian hypocrisy. In a nation were human life is cheaper than most things, including petty bribes i wonder what 'morality' we have to feel we are better than everyother person in the world (probably that explains y things don't work in Nigeria, everybody is wasting time trying to prove righteous)

that is the excuse for everything wrong and right with quite a lot of nigerians. before u know they start to prove to u that they holy-goody two shoes. who asked them to if not for the SHE-po-crites that they are. na the same people wey claim say woman body holy na them go use their eye dey undress mama sikira pikin o. i'm not saying being religion conscious is a bad thing. but don't use that as a cover up for everything and anything.
i'm still opening up my nude beach o. make una no forget i'll let y'all know when the time comes. spectators are allowed so long u are in your birthday dress too.

I used to wear Bikini in Nigeria and that was in the 80s.
All i have to say is this,
If you like wear leggings and pullover. What you wear has nothing to do with what you are. Some girls you can put a water melon in their Totto and it will still fall out just like that. With or without Bikini.

But its true . Most Nigerian men are Muggus. Then they go by what they see on the surface. The biggest (watermelon totto size) women are the biggest pretenders. And lord have mercy they have all reason to .

I don't think I can. I'm used to hot climate so summer on a beach doesn't make me uncomfortable in my jeans.
