Can An Bank Be Compliant Without IT In The Next 10 Years? <offtopic question>

I am a qualified accountant wanting to sit for CFA until I went for a seminar where I learnt that one of the survived 25 banks is introducing Paperless banking, which means every business should be treated online.

This lead me to have a rethink, instead I should go for CISA having trained in an audit firm and working as an auditor in a bank, hoping that it will give me a better opportunity.  Please let's compare notes.
