I am impressed by the contribution so far and i have decided to add mine . The character name is jagun, a cool guy by appearance but deadly in combat. He is a master at every form of phisical combat, judo, karate, kendo, wrestling, knife fight, taekwondo, muay tai etc. This is a postcard of him but if i get any responce, i may be forced to post his complete battle mode.

Reviving some of the great Graphics threads we had in the past! Back in the days where Graphics guys and chics had passion for creativity - and not self righteousness!

Thank you. Actually I do not know how to put them in 3D Design. We are looking for a team of inde 3D artist, developers and programmers to get on it. Once we find them, we can submit it to our investors and/or just send it to our major developer for their approval. Soon we will be selling the T-Shirts to help assist the funding for the games creation. Here is an enemy ( Master , who you will have to fight at the end).

@esbeenatio. i concurr to kemji's nod at your work. though i think if you are going for a computer game of african or naija make. then you and you really expect want it to do well, then you shudn't be going for oriental or non african character's.i for one am a big fan of fighting games or beat em up's as they are more popularly known around the world and i dont think we can beat the asians or americans or even europeans in teir stuff.we cant make a better tekken or final fantasy or street fighter than the japaneese. or a better mortal kombat than the americans etc. i think we have more than enough skills to develope a computer game in this country and shud take far less personell and funding and even less 3d work to come up with a good nigerian fighting game just as long as there is a sponsor ready to fit the bill for the project. i had a similar ideah long ago to have a naija fighting game with different characters from all over the country from different ethnicities. e.g a tiv character who fights in a slow snakey movement similar to the tiv dance and the stage is a tiv community with tiv soundtrack, a hausa character who uses the hausa one arm boxing style in and has a hausa scene as his stage. an ibo guy who uses brute force fighting. a yoruba with say a rythmic kind of fighting to reflect the yoruba love for dance and rythm and so many others. obviously this will take some more research which will take more research which will fall under the budget but you guys get my drift doncha. if not anything our kids will love to have a game with their own people in it and will certainly learn more bout other nigerian cultures with it. i remember knowing and even having books about the background history and place of origin of street fighter and mortal combat game characters jus because i loved the game so much.

My characters are not in the real world, therefore they can look like stick figures if they want. If you understand where I am going with that. Also, there will be Chinese looking characters among others. My guy interned at MARVEL comics, so he can draw whatever I need him to , At the Same time, the info on the character gives some insight on Chinese culture but a twist because it IS A GAME. so it's informative and sci-fi, anime and super hero. but for now all i show are these similar characters. Fighting games are what they are MARTIAL ARTS. so even though it was started in china, it rapidly move to other countries. I am to show martial arts with unknown and/or untalked about styles and chi PLUS MY OWN TWIST ,

I agree with Xothermik. When I picked interest in 3d character modeling, I initially had nothing new from the usual concept - straight up models of foreign characters. But I was advised to think about channeling my energy towards more African like models, at least to sell the idea of 3d animations with African themes. I've been working in that line and I think more of our own creative minds should buy the idea too. Just my 2 cents!
