I haven't played PES 2009 except for the demo and from what I played, there wasn't any significant difference from the 08 version where the online play was absolute crap and when I heard the 2009 version still had the same problem I decided to go with Fifa 09 and have no regrets. To be honest I've enjoyed it more than the PES 2008 with the smooth online play and other attractive features.

Nah bro!!! Fifa's 09 commentary is way better than pes09- i agree with u there, but pes gameplay is better than fifa09. Ive played fifa this yr than i ever did because i was pissed off when i just got pes09- was not impressed at all and i felt raped by konami. Because of this i went to buy fifa09 and forced myself to enjoy the game but gave up after playing the game for 2 weeks. I'm back playing pes09 which is not so bad after spending some more time with it. You need to spend more time playing pes09 to really know which has better gameplay |

u should not generalize cos from your post it is obvious U have only played the PSP version of the pes2009 so, it will be intelligent for u to mention that. Meanwhile in comparisons, those of us who have played it on TV and handheld would have a better judgement. I am not saying pes2009 is better (cos I am sure u are already interpreting it that way). Do u go online at all? That is where Konami will piss you off with the lagging. Playing anyone outside Europe is a disaster with Konami. Compare it with EA servers and get back to me. |

Seriously you are stupid to make such a daft remark, am speaking for handled even both the handheld and Tv console is not impressing , the real reason why people prefer PES is because they score easily except if the game difficulty has been increased to make the game play harder.To me its not realistic than FIFA face it the first thing that pissed me off with PES 2009 was no commentary for Godsake its like watching a Live FOOTBALL Match without commentary. Am not saying FIFA is the best soccer game, what am saying is FIFA is better off than PES, I still Stand and say PES is crap. Even a retard who has played the TV version hears martin tyler's commentary throughout. It is only the handheld that has commentary only when there is a goal scored like you said.
if you have truly played both, then did not hear the commentary and so we deduce you are worse than a retard; prolly an imbecile with spilling spit and you dont even know it.

I dont remember anyone saying FIFA09 is worse. everyone including me agree with it. It is just that one retard, sorry one numbskull mentioned that PES 2008 had no commentary only when a goal is scored. It sucks but dont mean we should tag pes with characteristics that it aint gat. I dnt know about fifa oh. Played fifa08 on psp it was just Ok, Played pes08 psp version and it was better "for me" to fifa08 moved on to PC versions. Pes08 on pc was shit, it was just there, didnt play it that much, b4 each 09 versions of the game came out, downloaded the demo, and i played both, prefered pes09. Fell in love with become a legend which is what i play errtime, Tried the champions league like 5times, couldnt get past the 2nd round lol havent tried the onlineplay cos am playing a cracked game, took me 10days to download the full version k, then i moved on to buy the psp version which i regret up till today, gameplay is shit, Become a legend mode is the worst. Due to the sreen size of the psp"i assume". Only 2 screen modes, wide (wich isnt so wide) and pes mode wich is not the best, looks like u in a box moving around then gameplay is whack. dont understand how the whole thing works, pes08 psp gameplay is far better than this pes09. Online play just annoying, U think u have the ball not knowing that its with your opponent and next thing u knw, its a goal to him. what kinda sh.it is that? Havent tried the online play in Fifa so i dnt knw if its the same there Right now, am still enjoying the Legen stuff on ma laptop, when i get tired of it, i'll get the fifa09 and see what the fuss is about will be gettn d psp version maybe nextweek just to test, Just found out here that the "become a legend" idea was originally FIFA's wich i had never seen before  |

Just found out here that the "become a legend" idea was originally FIFA's wich i had never seen before Very wrong. That mode was originally in the Japanese versions of Winning Eleven before FIFA ever had it. |

It will prolly make sense if the game is compared using the same console. e.g compare pes09 on psp with fifa09 on same psp and so on
