All the FIFA football games are easier to control than pro evolution soccer.
Also FIFA consists of all countries and almost all the clubs around the world with almost custom designs for all players.
Pro Evolution only uses teams and clubs that are well know making their team and player database very small.
For the PS2 versions of the games you can check the file size by putting the ps2 cd into your computer's dvd drive. Fifa is almost 4 times the size of pro evolution. This gives fifa the ability to add more features.

I never knew that ps2 and xbox had different disc capacity. lol. @~Sauron~ Konami make profit because they make one product(PES) and it sells unlike EA Sports who make 15 products with only FIFA 09 making the charts. now i can see you are drunk. go back to the hole you came out from. peace. this is most stupid thing i have heard in 1 week and it came from, then no problem, after all it's in you. what a waste of time and bandwidth |

In the examples i gave. . . . .I spoke about EA games in Sports, didn't i? NHL, Cricket 09, and other Sports games. Those games are not popular in Europe but EA Sports still waste money developing them while Konami's only brand in Sports is the PES. Big difference, amigo. |

That game was developed after their financial report was made public. Even if Konami has 3 Sports games, can it be at par with what EA Sports churn out every year? My point is: FIFA 09 outsold PES 2009. . . . . . Whether EA Sports made profit or not is not the ISSUE here. |

PeS 09 forever. I have both, I prefer pes09. It makes more sense even though fifa09 has more diversity of game modes.

My first experience with soccer games was with fifa08 in nintendo 64. I used to like it then but thenwinning eleven (japanese version of pes) and ever since i have dumped FIFA. The gameplay of PES ws always better and i ben playing PES until PES 2008. I got PES 2009 for PS# and played it for 2 months, then i decided to lay my hands on FIFA 09 and OH MY GAWD, its the BOMB. I have stopped playing PES ever since because its crap. FIFA has improved so much on their gameplay , i know most nigerians like pes because its easier to play, and people donet want to play using the anlalogue stick. But i bet any pes lover to try fifa 09 for 2 weeks, try to master it and u will never go back to play PES
