Is Gen. Ibrahim B. Babangida A Sacred Cow?
« on: August 22, 2006, 09:19 AM »

If people like Saddam Hussein of Iraq and Charles Taylor of Liberia are being detained and tried for murder and genocide, why is it that IBB of Nigeria is still a free man?? If people like Gen Bamaiyi and Major Al-mustapha who have been in detaintion for the past 7 years are charged for attempted murder and murder in Nigeria, why on earth is IBB still allowed to move freely?? Is it that the government of Nigeria is afraid to institute any charges against him??

Let his time come now oo. I want to see that man suffer the way he made many Nigerians to suffer. He turned so many children into orphans and so many women into widows. This man IBB is not better than Saddam and Charles Taylor in any way. Infact Leaders like Idi-Amin, Mobutu and Abacha were even better than him. At least Abacha 4 once pardoned convicted coup plotters (OBJ and co.) who were suppose to be executed. IBB must surely pay for his sins and evil deeds here on earth before going to face the judgement of God. Nigerians should stand up and fight for the souls that were killed unjustly during his reign as Nigerian leader. If IBB will not be charged and prosecuted for murder, then people like Gen. Bamaiyi and Major Al-Mustapha should be set free too. There is no point caging a lion and allowing a tiger to move freely. What is the difference between the the lion and the tiger in the jungle?? We all know them to be carnivores!! Abi??

Don't get it twisted.
IBB is a confirmed sacred cow and he is untouchable.
IBB is Nigeria and Nigeria is IBB.
There's no coup d'etat in Nigeria that IBB does not know a thang or 2 about which means he has a hand in all the governments that have ruled Nigeria.
OBJ came to power as a result of IBB's influence and power-play.
He is the biggest heavy-weight in Nigeria at the moment and i strongly believe only God can judge him.

IBB must surely pay 4 his past. It's only a matter of time. If you sow evil you shall reap evil during harvest. The time will soon come for him to reap what he has sown.

the only way he will be prosecuted in my opinion is if Buhari becomes president and he retaliate against IBB for over throwing his regime na mandating him to house arrest.  and again Buhari was not a good leader, he was a figure head, Idiagbon was running the country under that administration, we will get IBB one way or the other.  his days are numbered, not all Nigerians are blinded by IBB, someone with dignity will rise out fallen compatriots souls will rise and clamored on his wicked head.  we just don't have concrete evidence to nail him for now, we will get him when he start withdrawing his starch loot
