Guys you cannot tell me she does not fake the US accent, throwing a few sentences in pidgen or Yoruba is not enough, its not hating its the truth and there are scores of Nigerian artrsists who are just fake, even everyday Nigerians fake the US or Jamaican accent, it the truth, everyone knows it, lol

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_He13-3hZpA

Now, are you guys telling me that there is no fake American accent in this song? If she was born or raised in the US fine, but if not, can you explain the  US accent in the song? If not fake what is it then?

I've said she is talented, but putting on a fake accent only undermines the authenticity of her talent.

There are countless Nigerian artrists who are just copycats, (from the subject of their songs, to their videos, they scream "wannabe") even if she is not the worst culprit by far.

No this is what you call original , fully representing our own  way of talking, no need to copy how an American would say it.

Or even this

No need for any heavily fake accent,

Anyways shortie tight though and naija rappers for don go higher if to say dem fit dey original.but people for naija wan rap like yankee/Jand!

lol, I'm not hating on anyone and I wasn't even talking about Luscious MC at all, and I see where the wires were crossed, if someone is Nigerian but was born or lives in the US they identify with both cultures, US and Nigeria (their expression is genuine), but someone who is born and raised in Nigeria and has never spent any amount of time in the US and therefore has to force/practice the accent is different, if I'm not mistaken it  applies to Sasha, unless her US accent is genuine.

,  so people thought I was talking about Luscious, nope not at all I was talking about Sasha, lol, lol

People like Luscious and Ikechukwu have genuine American accents and also identify with their Naija culture, thats a different thing altogether.

Ok, who is hating on my sasha ooo?, please don't. Seriously speaking while she might have some few bits of irregularities, she is till good. She raps real good.
For weird MC, i loved her "ijo ya" single. I recently watched Psquare's "Tempted to watch" Video where they did "Bizzybody part 2", she rapped on it and i was totally dissapointed with all her lyrics. Except for her integration into the video that made sense.

Ok, I like sasha, maybe coz one of her live shows at the kuramoh beach captivated me, i simply had a crush on her( i mean real crush), and her collab on the trybesmen family "oya" was good. She spitted real bad.

Please ooo, give her time. She'll hit the musical scene with a big bang. At least she is combining Law with her musical career( a feat seun hates with all passion), so that might be the cause of her not concentrating on popularity. Coz with fame comes responsibility. Also, for those who compares Tuface with sasha, i beg go "siddon look", Tuface is a budding artiste, and tuface rose to stardom with the help of Satanic Kenny Ogungbe and angelic D-one, lol.

Sahsa, go girl, i love u, lol

Gbenga, I have said from the beginning she is talented, thats never been disputed, I just think the fake yankee accent takes away from it, simple. That is not hating, lol

Just heard one of Sasha's new songs - A dara (don't mix it with the other A dara song - i prefer that one).  I used to think that BOUQUI is better.  But now, I need to listen each of their albums to decide. BOUQUI's album is out and SASHA's will be out November.  Make sure you get their albums.  Let's support our own so their survive.

Now Mr Londoner am sorry but you gotta get a life, why cant you just appreciate something good, yes she copies an accent what crime is in that? What is her offence? When LEONARDO DICAPRIO copied a South African accent in his new movie BLOOD DIAMOND, how many people hate him for it? It is his job to do that when he did, and it is also Sasha's job to copy an accent when she did. If she is singing a typical Yoruba, then she'll speak typical Yoruba.
FOR HEAVENS SAKE, TRY TO APPRECIATE PEOPLE WHO ARE DOING WELL FOR THEMSELVES AND WHO ARE MAKING YOUR COUNTRY GREAT,
What are you doing outside your country Nigeria by the way if you are not trying to be what you are not. Let me tell you one thing, you not residing in Nigeria shows you are a pretend,  as simple. It's all Logic.
One more thing,  GROW UP!!!!!
