M.I is definitely one of the best rappers we've seen in 9jeria. His style is a bit laid back tho which some people might see as a flaw.

As for me I think the guy is just there, you cant really say he is good just because of his album. I think you guys should first of all wait and see how he performs later on before jumping to conclusions. As for me I still go with my MODE 9  baby and as for that kay29000 where do u get your facts from? You better start putting your facts right and stop flooding the place up with your flaws. ANYWAYS I JUST WANNA SAY WHY WAIST TIME ON THIS DUDES? THEY ARE OUT THERE MAKING IT AND YOU GUYS ARE BUSY KILLING YOURSELVES FOR NOTHING. GEEZ!

Guy, just cuz ppl are not feeling M.I. like you, does not make them haterz.

Stick to the script and concentrate on making valid points.

If you are a rilla no need to get all sentimental.

When X came out he was the shit where is he now,

When 50 came out he was the shit,

Give him time to stake his claim on the throne.

Any one of immense ability will stay the long haul.

Just ask Rugged and Eedris ABDUL Kareem.

MI is very very very good. No doubt.

In delivery, he's the best.

In flows, he;s good

BUT IN LYRICS . . . . .eh!!!!

hold it right there

Modenine is still the undisputed super lyrical heavyweight chanpion of africa.

The Day M.I drops something hotter, more intelligent than CONTRADICTION (modo's track on EPL), then he would be my best

MI is like an elastic string, yet to attain its max expansion E(elastic limit) Mode is there already, and now aiming for breaking point.
All i meant is that Mi can improve further and be bettr than mode. Mode can't improve, he's at his best already.

False. He's the MOST PROMISING for now. Too early in his career to label him the best.

@ Dclique

U cant judge a rapper skills by 2 or 3 albums. Anyone who say M.I cant Rap should be listening to APALA. Cool

Rugged is good no doubt,
The truth is that in attitude i prefer Rugged man,

Bt in rhymes n lyrcis i will go for M.I

i RMBR when rugged 1st came into d industry he was dissing IDRIS in other to get fame,

M.I never dissd nobody,
He wrkd his way to tha TOP, n got his fame n respect,

@Dclique

You are really showing some ignorance as far as Hip Hop is concerned.

Dissing is part of the game. Only half baked cats diss for fame and that's why they remain half-baked.

Rugged dissing for fame? He felt hip hop needed a face lift and went for the biggest name in Akara Hip hop-Eedris.

He took on Eedris and the might of Kennis Music. He even told his label Little Fish to kiss his ass rather than tone down his lyrics!

Do you know how many carrots were dangled before him, d guy no chop.

A bulk of so called rap cats came into Hip Hop post-Pac and Biggie's deaths. By that time corporate America had fully taken over Hip hop and raped her.

And the end product is people trying to make a living outta dissing". Only Rugged used the formula and it worked and that was cuz he wanted to change the face of Hip hop in Nigeria. And stop all chicken gibberish Kennis music and Eedris were ramming down our throats.

Most 9JA RAPPERS who diss now do it for fame. Using right tools for the wrong reasons.

Let's ponder for a moment Hip hoppers, which US rapper took the crown after just one album?

Anyone?

I thought so too.
