Lmao. obviously. I mean one would have to not have heard a lick of Yoruba to not know which word doesnt match for the most part. Growing up I used to annoy my parents making them translate the incantations. Egabmi, Wetin concern a toad, lizard tail and a snake with what I'm watching ROTLMAO;D

Back then? Yoruba movies were scary then, jare. Oleku was the first Yoruba movie I actually sat down to watch because it was subtitled. My mom speaks the language like a native, so she interprets when there are no subtitles. The Yoruba girls in my class then went crazy for Yemi my lover and I was like what da heck?? rotlmao Yea, back then they were scary = Fun to watch!!!!!!!

ROTLMAO;D All of the films mentioned here are actually not strange to me. Not strange, not because I watched them, but because I heard about them when they were reigning in the early to mid-90s. I was actually raised omo ajepako, at least until 1999 when I moved from family house in agbo-ile(the most lucrative electronic there was black and white TV) to big brother's house in another part of the town(with DSTV, jeeps, and other luxuries you can think of). But it's not easy transiting from ajepako to ajebota. That pako will still be showing in your face. Kai, life sha. You made me remember when Video was a luxury, so much so that in the whole adugbo(don't forget I be ilu-oke pikin o), only 2 or 3 people will have video and they will be like king, with the few generous ones among them buying video sender, so that we will not need to come to their apartment to watch films but we can see it in our own houses. Guess what . . .our own 1970-made black and white TV could not even pick the sender. So that was why I only knew all those films but watched only few(on TV, in Mama Gebu's house). Maybe it was this background that made me not a film-freak, even till now, that I live in one of the choicest part of Lagos. I don't watch films till now, only football. LOL!!! Dude, you are funny!
