The Case Of Unemployment:who Is To Blame?
« on: January 07, 2009, 11:23 AM »

Are you going to blame anybody for being jobless this year? There are cases where people blame their society or government for their being unemployed. It is common and easy to shift blame. Some people say “Government has not made environment conducive enough for people to thrive. They do not provide free education to acquire knowledge.” If I may ask, who is the Government? It is you and I that constitute the society. So we are to blame.

DISCOVER YOURSELF

Whether you agree or not, God has loaded every individual with talents to cater for himself in life. You only go to school to refine them to be properly aligned and exposed. Now you have little assignment. It is the onus of yours to discover yours either to  be a job giver or a job seeker. You don’t necessarily need huge capital for a start but you will surely need these:  Honesty, Prudence Discipline, Focus, Positive attitude and commitment and self drive, to mention few, to grow. In my humble opinion, Nigeria prevailing economic situation demands to be a job giver rather than a job seeker.  Discovering yours entails looking inwards to see the area your interest best lies. Some people discover their talents today in football and they become the world’s famous players. Some people in music and they are renowned musicians. Some see business and they become business magnates. One pertinent question arises that: how have these people discovered themselves? The simple answer is SELF-DISCOVERY. You have not possessed your possessions until you possess your position. How well positioned is a keeper in a penalty kick will determine the chance of his ball save. How can you conquer the challenges you are not ready to face? If you discover yourself today, you have equipped yourself with tools to face your challenges now and in the future.

ALIGN YOUR SELF-DISCOVEY

Well, discovering yourself only is not enough. It is very vital to figure out what people want and visualize the way you can use your talents to create utility that gives them satisfaction. In other words, what can you give people so that the can appreciate you and give you something in return? Maybe you can think of products or services you can render to people so that you can be appreciated. If you think of a product, it is relevant to take ‘quality and durability’ as your premium. If service like what obtains at www.incom4eva.com,  let ‘honesty’ be your watchword. The world will give you a nod and beckon at you.

DISCOVERY HARNESSING

At this time, you draw on your experience so far and back it up with your talents .This will drive you to a land of creativity. This is an unknown strange land where all needed tools and component parts are all available for assembling a monumental structure that your life, your family’s and that of the world will depend. It is a monumental structure that will determine your success if properly coupled together. You will need recourses, time and energy to see it grow to maturity for a time probably not overnight like we think today. You will need to show it to the people to see at this stage. If they love it, you will receive many plaudits for the job well done. If they don’t, yet, go back and figure out why they don’t. Surely success will smile on you at last.

CONLUSION

This year is a promising year full of its attendant goodies but the question is: do you still have reasons for being unemployed? You hold the key to your destiny. Your destiny is the door to your success. It is not in the hand of anybody not even government's but you. Take a decision today and the reward is waiting for you.
