The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), a technical arm of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources seeks to engage fresh University/Polytech nic graduates as well as experienced professionals into the under listed positions from all the States of the Federation.

Successful candidates can expect to develop specialist skills and professional competencies in oil/gas regulation and supervision during their careers.

(A). GENERAL REQUIREMENT FOR GRADUATE TRAINEES
The right candidates for this category must:
Possess B.Sc/HND/OND in relevant Engineering, Physical and Management Sciences with a minimum of Second Class Lower Degree or Upper Credit Diploma.
Possess NYSC discharge /exemption certificate.
Must not be more than 27 years old by 31st December, 2006.
Be computer literate
Be fluent in both written and oral English

(i) ENGINEERING, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND SOCIAL SCIENCES
The right candidate must:
Possess a University degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in any of the following disciplines:
Chemical/petroleum/ Gas/Process/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Civil
Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, Computer Science, Micro-biology,
Industrial Chemistry, Estate Management, Quantity Surveyor, Statistics,
Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences and Accountancy (Post graduate degrees and/or other professional qualifications will be an added advantage)
Must possess more than 10 years relevant experience in the field concerned.
Must not be more than 40 years old as at 31st December, 2006.
Possess NYSC discharge/exemption certificate
Be computer literate
(ii) MEDICAL SCIENCES
MEDICAL DOCTORS
M.B.B.S in General Medical practice (Family Practice), Internal Medicine, or Public Health.
The right candidates for this post must:
Possess a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the field concerned.
Possess NYSC discharge/exemption certificate
Be computer literate
