How Can I Add Online And Offline To My Forum

i was working on a forum i need to apply offline and on indication on it so that i can know online and offline Users
Please some body should tell what to do.


Also i want to know how to add <br> to a recordset  so that i can display text the way they are typed,  i use Mx Dreamweaver 8 to design my site

Please somebody should tell me how to go about it,

The content should be within the ().

What do you mean working on a forum? Are you building a forum from scratch or what?
