For now, only Glo supports Blackberry.

I believe MTN may be starting some trials soon (only a rumour) and I have no information about Vmobile.

As for data/browing, that will depend on the carrier. But for voice, it should function just like any other GSM phone. As long as the country/carrier has the appropriate bands. I think most of the ones sold here in the states these days are quad-band anyway, so it should work anywhere.

Blackberry is a hype.  PURE AND SIMPLE.  It is a bunch of UGLY device with no special advantage whatever over a PocketPC Phone powered with Windows Mobile 5.0
AND you still pay 10k MONTHLY!! for the push mail facility and others that is AVAILABLE free of charge on any PocketPC Phone powered with Windows Mobile 5.0 like g-Smart & Eten (from www.buyright.biz), iMate jam, others with a lot of useful applications

Glo is playing on the Naija 'Big Boys and Girls' mentality

It is a waste of money from my point of view and people will soon know it for what it really is
