Well, how do i start, this is my personal diary from the day i was a child till now! So read and enjoy my diary.
THE BEGINNING
She was born into the humble family of Mr & Mrs. Oyetoro on a wonderful Friday morning, she is actually the second born child in the family and the only female sometimes it is frustrating, trust me she is always referred to as a tom boy because she is surrounded by boys, an elder one and three younger ones, ALL BOYS!
She attended Lydia Spring Private School for her primary education, in primary six she was the senior prefect of the school because she is a very brilliant girl who made her parents proud.
She later proceeded to Methodist Girls' High School for her Junior Secondary Education, where she was also made a Prefect for the Junior Section, wonderful isn't it anyway she was very popular while in school because of her name, 'CHERRY" that;s her english name, the one she bears in school, but OMOLOLA is her native name, the one she bears at home and on NAIRALAND! Anyway, people usually made fun of her name sometimes calling her 'cherry mango', she wasn't frustrated, no, but she sure enjoyed the attention because it made her very popular.

After her Junior Secondary Education, her parents relocated from Yaba, Lagos to Ikorodu, Lagos. Due to this, she could not continue her senior secondary in her former school, she had to move from a missionary only girls' school to a model mixed school. She adjusted very well to her new environment because she was already used to boys. But due to the change of environment, she became very sick and was admitted into the General Hospital at Ikeja for about 2 weeks and even had a blood transfusion! terrible isn't it? Well, after she was discharged, she went back to school but then she missed a lot of lectures due to her sickness, but she later adjusted. When she was in SS3, her father bought a land at Ikorodu, within 3 months they had built their house and completed it and then they moved into their new apartment on 12 February, 2008. They were very happy but then it was kind of stressful because their area was a developing one, people had just started to build houses there, then from the house to their junction is like 15 minutes walking distance before one then takes a cab or a bike to school, it was very hard coupled with the fact that her father did not have a CAR! But then God did a miracle just a week after they moved into their house, her daddy BOUGHT A NEW CAR, HONDA CIVIC 2008. It was a very beautiful car. They were all very happy, a week later again , he bought another car a TOYOTA CAMRY for her mother. It was just very wonderful, things were suddenly made very easy, then they bought a very big generator which they used in their house. God blessed them abundantly in their new house. Back to Omolola' s diary, she was made the captain of her class in SS3, she has always been captain right from SS1 so you can imagine how she felt being made captain again anyway, it was nice though with all the attention and all that. She was also nominated as a senior prefect in her school, she refused the position because she wanted a break, she didnt want the position because of the duties attached to it due to her health and being the captain of her class was already enough work for her. Her WAEC was approaching, she prayed to God to make her pass her WAEC and promised to do anything if she passed it, she was actually going out with someone them named Shedrack but she didnt really love him, she didnt even know why she was in the relationship so she wasn't even enjoying it, so she broke up with him because she did not want any guy to be on her mind coz of her waec exams coupled with the fact that she is too young for a relationship, she did not consider it as her first relationship, she never had one as far as she was concerned. She registered for NECO and wrote the exams too. She wrote the JAMB examination 2008 aspiring to study Banking and FInance in the University of Lagos, but then she was waiting for her WAEC results. She entered as an 'Awaiting Result' candidate, she passed the Jamb and the Post Jamb and was given admission into the University of Lagos to study Banking and Finance, she was so happy, BUT THERE WAS AN OBSTRUCTION., she was still waiting for the WAEC results, the WAEC didn't release the results on time as such she lost the admission. IT WAS VERY FRUSTRATING FOR LOLA so painful. Exactly three days later, WAEC released the results. The results were not so encouraging: she had English C5, MAths D7, Economics B3, Financial Accounts E8, Geography E8, Commerce D7, Yoruba F9, Government C5 and Biology C5. She was shattered!  She had entered for the Poly JAmb and chose LASPOTECH, Banking and Finance but with the result she could not read Banking and Finance, a course she had dreamt of reading right from childhood! She wrote the Post Jamb and passed and was given admission again, Well, she was given an optimum, she was to study MAss Communication because that was what she could study with that result. SHe wasn't really too happy but she had no choice because she didn't want to stay at home. After some time, NECO Results were released, her results were OUTSTANDING! English C5, MAths B3, Economics C5, Government C5, Geopraphy C5, Commerce C5, Financial Accounts C5, Yoruba B3 and Biology C5. Wow, wonderful she could study Banking and Finance with the result. She was elated. But then it was late because she had already been given admission to study MASS COMMUNICATION IN LAGOS STATE POLYTECHNIC, IKORODU. |

Well, she had to give up Banking and Finance for Mass Communication. She started lectures a while later, during the first two weeks, she discovered she had a passionate love for MAss Communication, she enjoyed the course so thoroughly and loved it, she knew it was the course for her and believed God had a purpose for letting everything to be that way, she believed the saying that says Every Disappointment is a Blessing. She made new friends in school, enjoyed the lectures, she discovered that campus life is different from secondary school life, everybody was on his own, she had to buy hand outs and different text books to escape from lecturer's wrath, it wasn;t so easy at first, On December 5th, she had her matriculation, it was fun! HEr parents and family were there with her, she was matriculated as her bonafide student of LAGOS STATE POLYTECHNIC, it was indeed very nice. Well, Tomorrow January 15 is her BIRTHDAY! When she was in SS2, she met a guy named Niyi. It was actually a coincidence because her friend, Deola flashed the guy on her phone, so after her friend had left, he called back and thus, he spoke with LOLA. He loved her voice so much, said she had a lovely voice. He kept pressuring her, but she did not want to talk to him. After some time, they started talking, they were friends for about two months before he asked her to be his girlfriend, well, it took her sometime before she agreed because she didn;t have feelings for him, she only liked him as a friend. But he kept begging and disturbing her, he was so in love with her but she wasn;t reciprocating. She agreed at last because she pitied him  Well, they started going out and they shared their first kiss, it was a wonderful experience  though, it would have been better if she had loved him  He was actually in 200 level studying Computer Science in Bowen University. After about four months, she started behaving funny because she didn't love him, though, she knew he loved her so much. She didn't pick his calls anymore and didnt even talk with him, she just wanted to be alone, she couldn't continue deceiving him anymore. She had to call it QUITS! Before she started school in Laspotech, her cousin came over to spend some time with her, well, they were both using the network, MTN, thus, they made midnight calls. That night, her cousin's boyfriend, Joshua called so they were both talking, but then she said she wanted to talk to him, she talked to Joshua and he loved her voice so much that his friend, Lewis who was also there said he wanted to talk to her too. So she talked to Lewis and they exchanged numbers and started talking every nite, they became very close friends, a week later he asked her out, she was stunned! You ask why? First, she had never seen him before and doesn't know what he looks like and she was afraid of a long distant relationship, but he convinced her and said it would work out. It took her two days to think about it, finally, she accepted and they became lovers. She was so much in love with him and he also loved her but they had never seen! She was frustrated because it wasn;t easy, although, she had sent her pictures to him via e-mail but he never sent his. So one day, Lewis said she should come over to Ikeja (his house) so they could see, she didnt want to go because one, her parents would not let her go because she was still inmatured and two, she was scared to go to a guy's house that she has never seen or met before. He pressurized her so much, he said he wanted to have sex with her when she comes so he could show and prove to her how much he loves her. She refused because she didnt want to loose her virginity at the age of 16! It just was not possible. But he begged her so much. Foolishly and due to her inmaturity she AGREED! And so they set a date to see, the first week of December, 2008. Niyi kept disturbing her, he didnt know what was going on because she never told him and never broke up with him, she just did not pick his calls anymore because she was so in love with Lewis. The day she was to go to see Lewis and do the abominable act with him, Lewis called and said he was very sick and was in the hospital so they could not see i really thank God for that. After some time, Lewis stopped calling her, what she did for Niyi was coming back to her he didnt pick her calls and all that. When she could not take it anymore, she called him and his excuse was that he cant call me because he has a problem with his school fees, can you beat that? because he had problems with his fees, he could not pick her calls! They broke up. She was the one who broke up with him coz she could not take it anymore. She decided not to call him anymore and thus the love she had for him vanished, but it took a long time because she was heartbroken. She decided to take a break and not go into any relationship anymore. |

Well, she was just about recovering from what Lewis did to her, when one day her former bf, Niyi called her, though, they never broke up but she did some very terrible things to him.
He called her with a private number because he knew she would not pick his calls if he knew called with his number, she picked it, when she found out he was the one, she wanted to cut the phone but he begged her not to.
He asked her what he had done to receive such a treatment but she could not say anything because he didnt do anything to her, he was so angry with her because she forgot his birthday and for every other thing she did. She apologized to him, he then popped the big question "Are you no longer interested in me?" She was dumbfounded, she finally said yes, that she was not interested.
He was heartbroken, but then, surprisingly, he said something that shocked me so much, a sentence i would never forget in my life, he said "LOLA, I WANT YOU BACK!" She was shocked! What kind of a guy is this she thought aloud, didn't take no for an answer. She did not know what to do or say, he begged her so much, he was madly in love with her, she knew that! Life is so complex, here, was someone who loves her so much but she didnt love him in return and there was Lewis whom she loves so much but he didnt love her that much.
She told him to give her sometime to think about it, he gave her two days, she thought about it thoroughly but could not bring herself to an answer, probably, because they had not seen for some time, she was in school and he was also in school. He called her after the two days, but she could not say yes and she could not say no. He started reminding her of the good times they had spent together, the first kiss they shared, when they played around on the beach, and every other nice times they spent together, she could not take it anymore, he had scattered her head with sweet things, Finally, he said he was coming home for Christmas break so we would see and then talk about it.
They met at their usual meeting place, where they met before they split, he asked her of her decision but she said she had not yet decided yet, he then took her in his arms and kissed her so passionately and emotionally, that was the ENGINE OIL she needed, she had never had such a passionate kiss before, he swept her off her feet. She then discovered that she had loved him from the beginning but was only scared or should i say shy to bring herself to tell him or let him know, she loved him afterall. They kissed for about 30 minutes non-stop. When he finally stopped, he asked her "WOULD YOU BE MINE ONCE AGAIN, LOLA?" She didn't know when she screamed YES!
And thus began their passionate, lovely, wonderful, love life. It;s a year now, if she calculates it from when they first started the relationship and it has been going on smoothly. What a wonderful relationship!
SHE HAS NO REGRETS WHATSOEVER EVEN UP TILL NOW!

hey, today, January 15, 2009 is my birthday! Well, my parents are taking me out this afternoon, wish my boyfriend, Niyi was around, he's in school, he's actually in 300 level now. But he has been calling me all day and sending happy birthday texts to me, he;s so romantic, anyway he promised to give me my birthday gift when he comes back in two weeks time, I can't wait for VALENTINE'S DAY. Silly me, right? ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Am so happy now, i got a family who loves me and a boyfriend who loves me so much! Isnt life good! |

WOW! Am just coming back from one of the happiest moments of my life, can you guess where my parents took me, well, they took me to SILVERBIRD GALLERIA. I was dumbfounded when i got there, i didn't expect it coz i have never been there before, it's my first time. The Galleria is so big, i tried hard not to behave like an ara oko don't mind me. Anyway, i had lots of fun, watched latest movies and ate popcorn i love pop corn so much, dont mind me, then from there, we went to a restaurant, we ate Pounded Yam and Egusi Soup, am a typical local girl o so i didnt order for jollof, fried, plantain, indomie and those ajebutter food, i be typical ajepako . We just came back about an hour ago, when i got back, took my laptop to check my e-mail, men, it was filled with lots of birthday greetings from friends and of course from my sweetheart, Niyi. It was very nice. The Facebook team, my friends on Facebook, the naijapals team, my friends on Naijapals, the leg work team, my friends on leg work and some other social sites all sent their birthday greetings except ofcourse the Nairaland team. Seun didnt send a msg to my box, no offence sha am not the only one celebrating birthday today. Almost forgot, i didnt go to school today coz of my outing with my parents did i hear you all call me yeye girl well, maybe that;s what i am ALL IN ALL, i had a very WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY!See ya tomorrow. |

Thank God is Friday! I woke up today feeling good that today is friday, i would be leaving for school on Monday, can't wait to return to school and be with all my friends again! I woke up at about 9:00am, why? you ask me, well, because i was making mid night call the nite before with my b/f. We talked about a lot of things, we laughed, joked and so much more. Mehhhhhn, am missing him already, can't wait for him to come back. Oops!!! My mom just came back from work, she is supposed to be at work, dont know why she came back, maybe she forgot something. Oh my! She's calling me right now. Alright, i would be right back, let me go attend to my mom. BE RIGHT BACK! |

AM SO SORRY! When answered my mom, she was searching for her gold wristwatch, guess she wanted to wear it work but when she didn't find it she came back for it. Unfortunately for me, i took the gold wristwatch, i thought she would not come back, so she asked for her watch, i couldnt say anything. She searched my room and found her watch. MEEHHN! It was terrible! I was BUSTED! I didnt know what to do So my punishment was: 1. Laptop was ceased for 1 wk 2. No browsing for 1 wk 3. No pocket money 4. No money for provisions when am going back to school. 5. No receiving phone calls 6. No going out It was terrible o, i wouldnt have been online today if not for my aunt, she came around this morning and begged for me. She pleaded that my mom reduced the punishment and even if possible to withdraw it. She refused at first but then my dad intervened and she forgave me. SO AM BACK! I will never do such a thing again Anyway i would be going back to school tomorrow, am going to miss my parents and brothers so much! Dont worry, am going to be online, i would be taking my laptop along with me, so am not going to miss NAIRALAND that much! Seun dont be offended o See ya all tomorrow. Well, i went for SCHOOL BREAK don't mind me av been so busy at school with Assignments, Projects, Orientation and all, its been really stressful Thus, i could not even have time for my Laptop You won't believe that the last time i opened my Laptop was January 18, 2009 Because there was no time. Well, today is really fun! Don't have lectures today so av got enough time today! Lectures yesterday was so long and boring! I finished talking with my b/f about 30 minutes ago. I miss him so much and he misses me too, at least i know He's also in school, can't wait for the HOLS! Well, a friend of mine in school got pregnant, She's about a month pregnant! She is my closest friend in school, she is so LOOSE!!! Am thinking of ending the relationship soon. When she told me, i was very disappointed, honestly! A guy she just met about a MONTH AGO! She said she was going to remove the pregnancy, i begged her not to but she was ADAMANT! |

HOW Y" ALL DOING?
Av been so lazy to update my diary!
A lot has happened this past few days.
My friend that got pregnant the other time, she finally aborted the pregnancy, i was disappointed at first but then its one of those things, its her life.
VALENTINE DAY was cool but it was kind of boring coz i was in school, one VERY STUPID lecturer said we should come to school ON VAL DAY, he had test for us! So no one could even think of missing the test coz its one of our main courses!

Hmmmn, You guys won;t believe it, Niyi broke up with me I was so heartbroken, he said he was no longer interested in the relationship, didnt give me any sensible reason All he said was he had found someone else  It was so painful Right now, i dont want to go into details, its so painful Anyway av decided that i want to be on my own for now, am still too young for all this! I just want to be on my own |

Today is such a good day! I woke up this morning feeling elated and kind of fulfilled! Don't like putting things on my mind so ave put him out of my mind FOREVER! Yesterday, in school a lecturer gave us an assignment, he said we should make a report on the orientation of the HND STUDENTS, CAN YOU BEAT THAT? He never told us to attend the orientation, how are we going to know what happened??? Anyway, probably we would interview them |

LAst week Thursday, in school i met a guy named Allen, actually he came to see his friend!
He offered to take me home in his car! I was perplexed!
Because i never knew him and i was kind of scared to accept his offer!!
I later did, during the ride he said a lot of things to me, he said he liked me, am very beautiful and some other sweet nothings!!
You won;t believe that he actually asked me out!!!
Well, i didnt give him an answer because i was not interested, he dropped me home and we exchanged numbers.
He called me that day almost 5 times.
But he didnt call me again until Sunday! Before then, i was kind of worried to the extent that i brought the case to Nairaland yeye girl you will say!
He called me and said he would like to see me, i told him not to come to my house but to meet me at a particular place!
So because of this i had to leave home at around 4pm, i waited for him till 6pm, he didnt show up, he later called me at about 6:30pm, he finally came at 7:00pm, he came with his friends, we just talked for like a minute, he then said he was coming back he wanted to drop his friends, but he didn t come back, i was angry coz he actually wasted my time.
I resolved never to call him again.
Surprisingly, he called me yesterday and apologized. He then said he was coming to my school today at about 5:30 to take me out! He has already taken me to be his girl friend but i have told him am not interested because of what i have gone through in the past! But he would not take NO FOR AN ANSWER!
FELLOW NAIRALANDERS, I am CONFUSED! I dont know what to do!

HMMMN!!!
He is actually a friend i met on Naijapals, Michael is his name.
We actually met on VAl's day
the guy is very handsome, i ws impressed sha!
We have been good friends since then!
This morning at about 6:35am, he sent me a msg that left me speechless at first, here it is:
"Hello baby, how was your nite? sorry for not calling am tied, av a nice day ok, i love you so much"
I was angry and at the same i was confused, i was wondering what the meaning of that text msg was when he sent another home, probably he suddenly realised we were not dating.
Here it is:
"Sometimes i forget that we both are not lovers, i think we are in love at times because i always dream about you"
NOW AM CONFUSED!!!
I don't know what to do and i dont want to be in any relationship for now!
Besides, i dont even have any feeling for him at all! I just like him as a friend!!

Actually, he is a friend of mine, i dont want to mention his name because i know he will read this.
He is actually my friend and i like him a lot
JUst this morning, he sent me a text, i would not want to write it here coz it is personal!
I know you would be wondering why i decided not to write his here and write the others, well, it is because he is special! hey, i can see you blushing referring to YOU! YOU! YOU!
I think he wants to date me, but then am confused
Because one, i dont want to jump into any relationship now
Two, he is quite older than me, though i know age is just a number but then it is unheard of!
But compared to the two others! I like him very much, very very much!
Though, i have not told him this, just that i dont want to
But i know he will see this because i know he will visit this site!

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMN
Well, Anonymous, one of the guys i said is disturbing me actually confessed to me that he loves me
But i don't love him, though, i like him very much but not to that extent.
He sent his picture to me, i wasn;t disappointed coz he had already told me he is in his mid thirties!
So i sent him a msg on facebook that i CANNOT have a relationship with him,
He actually misunderstood the whole thing and thought it was because i saw his picture and was disappointed.
BUT NO! That is not my reason!
My reason is because HE IS OLDER THAN ME, am 16, he is 30something, about 15-20 years older than me, depends on the age!
How can i date someone like that, what would my parents, friends and pple think, it is CHILD ABUSE!
Besides, i dont even have any feeling for him, even if i do i could not date him, NEVER.
Ave been trying to make him understand this, but he won't bulge.
Anyway, if YOU See this, AM VERY SORRY! But it cannot just be possible.
Let's just be FRIENDS, ok.
