Fellow NL, I enjoy the commedy going on here. However, as a patriotic member of NL and a loyal citizen, I desire to hear President Seun speak on this grave allegations levelled against him. I would not mind if President Seun sends his spokesperson to address the nation of NL on this allegation. There is always the need for masses of NL to be informed of the true state of the nation. Message from the spokesman:
It has come to the the notice of his Excellency about the malicious , untrue and callous allegation of corruption of our amicable and hardworking President. Some elements of the media and this forum have been peddling this rumor about "Ghana must go" in foreign currency, alleged to be given to his excellency by a section of this country.
Let me seize this opportunity to deny this allegation. At No point in time has the president or any of his representatives been given any money. You will recall that his excellency in his transparent attitude, declared his assets at the beginning of his term. All the records are open to verification
His excellency has advised the Forum to work together as as one in this trying times of our national history. This is not the time for backbitting and peddling of unconfirmed rumor.
Mr President has always operated an open door policy, so the appropriate step for journalist to take before going to the press is to confirm from the presidency about the authenticity of their stories.
Let me seize this opportunity to tell Mrs Farida, head of EFCC, to investigate this matter and report to the presidency within 2 weeks.
