You don't need to have special machines to lose weight. You can do simple things that are cheap, for exersize, you could jog around your house or some neighborhood. If you keep your heartrate elevated for 15+ minutes, your body starts to burn fat. You also need to build muscle in order to lose weight because muscle burns more calories than fat. To build muscle (an for free) you can work your legs by running up and down the stairs, or just stepping up on one step and then down (but make sure you only work one leg at a time) or even do lunges. For your stomach, just do crunches, sit-ups or twists, and for your arms you can lift some cans of canned milk or a bottles of water. But make sure that these are equal quantities in weight. Like don't use two different amounts or your arms might be uneven. And the point is to do this until you feel like you can't do anymore, then just do a bit more.
And you need to eat right, try to limit fried foods, so when you make plaintain (dodo), you don't always have to fry it, sometimes you can boil it. And don't eat until you are stuffed, eat until your hunger is gone and don't eat to fast, because apparently it takes your body 20 minutes to register when you aren't hungry anymore, so if you eat to fast, you will over do it. And try to eat more fresh fruits and things, don't always snack on chin-chin or plaintain chips or those pears.
