NYSC: Good Or Bad Experience?

hey guys a friend of mine is about to go for her youth service tomorrow and she has being complaing non stop about how unnecessary it is.and it got me thinking i was that way when i was about to serve.but after completing the whole thing i realise it was a worth wile experience .i serves in ogun state,i enjoyed the early morning activites,the games mostly (the last time i did that was in primary school or PE classes )was a quater gaurd,was in the OBS.made loads of friends.had life defining experience etc most expecially i see NYSC as a training school for graduates that prepares ur for the life ahead of us,

SO GUYS QUESTION IS DID YOU ENJOY YOUR NYSC DAYS,FEEL IT WAS A WASTED YEAR OR TOTALLY REGRET IT.GENERALLY HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT SERVING
