Is Pc - Smartphone Virus Possible?

Please anybody in da house can you help me with this problem.

I am confused. Should I connect my smartphone with my PC?

Can the smartphone be infected with a PC virus e.g autorun.inf, RECYCLER, trojan family and so on. (Not smartphone

virus as in skulltrojans or commwarriors) ?

I do not really trust my PC system although I scanned the computer with an updated AVG 8.0 recently.

Please N'land gurus what should I do.

I really need help urgently.
