u can get a free subdomain around but wat is the essence wen u can get it for as low as N1700 4 a year n even a host for N1000 not that dis tins r nt free bt i tell u from experience dat wat u spend to get will be more productive than a free stuff u c on d internet wen u search. they all have a string attached to it, well its marketing for them.u can try www.000webhost.com bt i dont think u will like it or use it that much.some paid cpanels offers u video tutorials that puts u through the items or takes you around the cpanel with massive space and bandwidth.
