Hello Guys:
I will like to explore the possibility of putting a cooperative of Tanker Truck owners together to move petroleum products for a major Nigerian Oil firm. This opportunity has been made available to me. If interested please contact me at the following email address:

Lagos, with a population estimated at over 11 million people is the fastest growing megacity in the world. These people need a more efficient transport system. It is unfortunate that Lagos blessed with significant Inland waterways that can be explored as an alternative to traffic jam-packed roads, has not aggressively pursued this path. I grew up as a child, exploring these waterways with my father in our boats. Ebute, Ikorodu to 5 Cowrie Creek (Lekki Pahse 1), was less than 8 minutes. Ebute, Ikorodu to Marina was less than 12 minutes. I believe the future of transportation in Lagos lies in the waterways.
Lagos State Government is now attempting (somewhat mis-guided) to encourage Inland waterways navigation, and has instituted a program to build and rehabilitate some jetties for water transportation. I believe this is acceptable for a start. However, there is a lot more needed for a viable water transport system. Developing this transport system will create a paradigm shift, and probably increase the life expectancy of it's users. Traveling on Lagos roads is extremely stressful to say the least.
I am very interested in Inland waterways, and have done an extensive study of this area including, navigation, jetties and docks, passenger vessels, as well as strategies. People interested in this area and willing to work together should contact me to explore and develop possibilities. Wait until you see what I have in Satellite imagery.
