Dear Mother !
« on: September 07, 2006, 01:02 PM »

this t.v drama is hot like that, and its all about a family of five (teju as dear mother because her husband is dead, ifeanyi d only son who is out of secondary skoool, grandma- teju's mother, susan as d baby of the house & ada, d elder girl. D drama is basically about modern day life in nigeria & d decisions one has to make. my favourite episode was when susan won an essay competition at school & as a prize she & one member  of her family would have an all expenses paid trip to disney land. Her family is happy for her but trouble begins to brew as evryone trys to outdo d other in pleasing her (susan) so that she would them as d person to escort her to disney land. on d day she is to choose, she refuses to go and d organisers decide to take d whole family on d trip to disney land.i was so happy for them. It airs on STVon friday 5:30pm and on AIT on maybe on sunday or saturday, i'll confirm which it is & d time. d drama is blazing hot !!!

I watch this show too, on RSTV, but why are the script writers afraid to advance teju's character to the next level. . . it's high time she got married. . . remember the last episode? Kunle Coker was s'pose to be her husband and then the inevitable twist at the end and she rejected him!  Angry Cool show!

I agree with you : Flatmates is tha bomb

I don't agree with you : Kopiko and Neighbours is really messed up. It's just like Face 2 Face. All those programs that make feeble attempts at making people laugh, but only work out the other way rould. PUH - LEEESE

Dear Mother is far better than Kopiko and Neighbours.

By the way, we're talking Nigerian, not all that Indian and Thai trash that you watch.
