Stretched Almost Beyond Limit. Help!
« on: September 08, 2006, 03:37 PM »

I am happy to join nairaland. I want them to help me out. am 24 years, I finished my secondary sch in 2001, but since then life has not being easy for me. I entered Seminary but was expelled in 2004, before then , I sat for JAMB in 2002 and scored 196. I intended to read Medicine but as it failed I applied to enter Seminary in 2003. I sat for JAMB again in 2004, it was cancelled. In 2005, I sat for yet another JAMB, I got 220 and was offered admission in EBSU Abakaliki to read Biochemistry/Biotech. But because of NUC regulations for admission quota, I was screened out. Rght now am no longer a student. EBSU discovered a 'fraud' in my O'level certificate. It was a mistake from my secondary school when they were filling our WAEC forms. In my OMR form they wrote my names correctly but the shading was wrong. My names are NWONU EMEKA VITALIS but my school shaded 'S' in place of the second 'N' and the names changed to NWOSU EMEKA VITALIS. Since then, I have being staying at WAEC office Yaba for the ammendment but it seems rather to be going too slow for my situation. Now I want nairaland to help me find  a job like working  in SSS. Though I have writting the Exam twice. The first one was in 2004 I took the third position in Ebonyi North zone and the second one was in 2005 I was the second in position from the same zone. But in all I did not hear from them. Please help me . This life has almost  stretched me beyond limit.

Orlando,
I must say I was heavily touched by your posting, sad but these things do happen.
I agree with the previous two response that you need the Lord JESUS in your life but i would love to go a little further, with some frank brotherly advice.
1. must u work with the SSS, can't u grab another job somewhere else and continue with your life, the worst thing that can happen to u now is for u to start feeling sorry for yoursef,  no body said life would be easy. I really would like you to grab the dailies as often as you can lay your hands on it, bet u can get a well paying security or driver job(believing that u can drive),and while u are at it, u can start a part time programme with LASU, don't make the mistake of depending on anybody. I also strongly advice that u get a computer trainning makes its easier to get these small jobs
2. Use whatever name thats on your WAEC result to fill any form or apply for any job, from now on that is ur new name.
3. be strong,  and always know that u have the likes of me making silent prayers for you.
