Depend from situation, one is not nice, it will be alone, i don't like. Two will be better, they are not alone and they can share a bed if there is no place. lol but really anything between 2 and 4 is all right i think.

Personnally, i will perfer to have 4, but my husband wants 2, so we more 1 for him, and less 1 for me, so we will have 3, by God's grace.
U should have what u can train, and not only train, but train properly for the society, you and him.
Bet ua nd ur family inucluding the child will be happy.

The ? is how many is enough, the thing is, it depends on the couple and what they can AFFORD and not what they WANT. If they can afford to comfortable take care of a million then its coool go for it. but if u don't have the means to take adequate care of two then please stick to one and rid our society of abused children that don't know anything but lack.
Secondly it also depends on your spouse (wife), you might want three and her health can only afford two, would still insist on three knowing she might not make it thro the third one?, despite the sex i.e you want a boy and she has two girls and vice versa
