The first-ever comic book store in Nigeria has opened in Kaduna, Kaduna State. The outlet, called Planet Comics, is situated in the heart of Kaduna GRA, beside mega-popular video club Video Mars.

Why Kaduna of all places?  Why not Lagos?

Well, Kaduna also a commercial hub like Lagos, but how will I get to check out their comics?  Huh

Seun,
Check if they are online.
Or find time to be at the Lagos Comics Carnival I mentioned earlier.

The high cost of doing business in Lagos could be responsible for the choice of Kaduna.

That's cool but why Kaduna of all Places?  Huh Anyway, I wish 'em luck and I hope they put up an online store. I guess they'll be getting brand new issues 'cause back in the days, we had to wait for months or even years to get the current issues. It was really hard to follow up. I think a south African company made a deal with Image and DC comics with Spawn and Lobo. Those were the only two comics I collected without having to wait for months for the next issue.

The owner is not really PR savy.

I tried to find a contact number or email for his shop but it took me ages.

I finally found an article with his email and sent him a mail offering to help promote it and does his store have a number or website.

Till now I have heard nothing!

Naija sha!

That is also what happened with the Paragon Comic guys.
