I cannot understand why everyone has got a beef with Jose.
One thing is when u are on top there's envy and all eyez will be fixed on u.
There's an ugly trend in the Premiership i still cannot fathom out and its bizzare.
For instance, If Mourinho or Ferguson had started badly the way Arsenal did what do u think would have happened to their image(s)?
I remember when Ferguson had a bad patch last season and people were calling for his head already.
Whenever Chelsea loses there's an excitement and people just want Mourinho to fail.
Arsenal did not win a single title last season and nuthing was said about Wenger.
Fergie was nearly crucified in 2004/05 for not clinching nay title and there were rumours he might be sacked.
He even started poorly this season and there was never a single time his job performance was brought to scrutiny.
It's ill but i think Arsenal fans are disgustingly lousy.

Well I really do not see what all this fuss is about , Maureen is a good coach ( Money helps  ) and no one can take it away from him, Is he Arrogant Bloody yes But you see thats what makes him tick (like some folks on this Nairaland forum, i won't call names, they/he know who theyhe are/is) Maureen wouldn't know what to do if he woke up and found himself being nice . The average Mediteranian person is quite arrogant, the spanish, the portugese, the italian, the greek and so on, its in their nature, and the way they are brought up, they are told to not fear anybody or anything. so Maureen is just being who he is. Unfortunately he came to Britain, a culture of the "stiff upper lip" which they share with the French, who are also proud, but distant. When he first came, the press were loving him, things sarted to go bad when the Rikkard incident got out of hand, Then what was seen as new and refreshing started to stink, as more people started to see he was a egotistic person. But the problem is thats the only way he knows how to be. Anything else and its not Maureen  you get. Deep down Jose wants people to respect him, but is pissed off that people attribute his success with Chelski on the Russian. The demands to deliver are so high, (you all have no idea what he goes through) He never really wanted players like Sheva, but Drogs was not getting the love of the crowd. and the Gallas situation showed that P Kenyon and RA do have a say on what goes on, and it pissed him off, so they had to compensate him, by releasing statements about Gallas, (believe me even Gallas was shocked!!) We really do not know the true situation at Chelski, but i am sure if Maureen leaves he will open up and tell us how life was. Maureen is a good coach, but he is misunderstood and the fact that he speaks broken english doesn't help, cause it can really be misconstrued by the press who are always looking to make a story out of nothing.
