The reason: very simple: gender inequality. I'm always amazed with what women accept from their husbands/boyfriends. It's like we barely came out of the stone age Any crime a woman does is worse than stuff men are involved with, even though nobody is hurt Hypocrites |

Actually, this makes me think of an interesting ethical dilemma. Assume the following
1. There is a prostitute, who is thinking of behaving as an ethical social sex worker
2. This implies that she only tricks bachelors or men in an open marriage
3. She takes pride in the fact that she does nobody any harm by her career choice and actions
Now, how is she supposed to find out that the man she's about to service is in fact not married?

Nferyn: The government of countries in which records are kept for each person can set up a service to help them check.
My opinion about prostitutes: they are necessary in any well-functioning society. If the profession is regulated instead of being banned, then maybe prostitutes will be encouraged to practice more safe sex and lives will be saved. maybe some beautiful girls will enter into the service and old men won't feel the need to prey on the hearts of your girls just to get some sex.
Why can't men who want sex (and sex only) not just pay for it and get it from a willing partner without having to pretend to be in love?
