I bumped into NL thru one of my regular searching online. I used to read the postings of members, but never joined. From the username I used, I think the particular threads that caught my attention and made me to join was GREAT IFE and THE BEST UNIVERSITY IN NIGERIA. I couldn't resist not lending my voice to this topics; that was what made me to join. But my interest now has shifted far from those topics, and now, I'm even somehow regretting using the username. It's too restrictive and revealing of one's identity.

Anyway, now I've become so addicted to NL that  I spend more than 40% of my office hours on NL. There was even a week I spent the whole of that week(morning till closing,Mon-Fri) on NL, digging interesting old topics and reading from first to last page. My Manager was on leave then, and I had to come on weekend to complete my tasks, so as not to incur the ire of my mgr when he resumed.

Anytime I'm facing my system and laughing or smiling or soliloquising, my colleagues now know i'm with my people on NL. The corper beside me once asked:what is that site you are always opening first thing every morning? I never knew she was observing me!!!

Wow. . . . . . I wonder how boring office would have been to me if I don't know NL

is it in the name of loving Nairaland that someone went and deleted all the previous responses on the thread A Letter to Bindex.

http://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-218070.0.html

the responses werent even that serious- just general light hearted replies while waiting for Bindex to respond.

There are plenty of nasty exchanges going on in various sections of nairaland which no one bothers editing, but why should this particular thread suddenly become a holy cow, and is the author of the thread some kind of militant Dalai lama dictating who can or can't respond on his threads?

if una like make una go wait for me on future threads as payback for exposing your nefarious activities. na bad belle go choke some people over internet.
