 Dear All,

An International oil servicing company is looking for a design
engineer.  Please find below the job profile:

Role:

To assist support engineer in the day to day support of allocated
customer equipment maintenance or project contracts.
This will includes the following principal duties :

Principal Duties:

1.   Provision of first point engineering support for the workshop team.
2.   Assisting after sales with customising parts and design problems.
3.   Assisting workshop QC inspector with resolution of Non conformances.
4.   Assist in production of technical investigations and reports.
5.   Undertake design reviews on new designs.
6.   Creation of bill of materials, part numbers and detail drawings
7.   Production of Design Reports, assembly and test procedures, User
Manuals and test Reports.
8.   Give Technical backup to Internal and External Customers.

Skills:

1.   Experience in mechanical design and general engineering background.
2.   Stress / analysis / working knowledge of API 6A & API 17D.
3.   Experience in AutoCAD.
4.   Experience with desk software - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.
5.   Communication Skills - Written and Verbal.
6.   Make presentation of the company products and specifications to
internal and external customers.

Experience and Qualifications:
1.   3 to 5 years design experience.
2.   Degree/HNC qualified in mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent.
3.   Wide range of engineering knowledge - materials etc.
4.   2 years engineering experience in the oilfield subsea industry
preferably with experience in the provision of pro-active support as
part of a Customer Focused Team Environment.
