I'm a fan of bollywood. I hate to say it, but there is no comparison yet with my naija people, or am I wrong?
anyone else into Indian movies, they can be very enlightening. For starters, watch

and western inspired - Bride and Prejudice and tell me what u think.

I used to watch Indian films a lot when I was much younger but now, not anymore. Then I loved such films as Yeh Vadaraha(spelling), Gazab, Dharam and Veer(spelling), Mother India, Burning Train, Satyamshivamskundaram and many others.

I remember my days in Form 1 back in the days( Yeah Form 1 not Jss1 or whatever u guys call it now).We used to scale fence and leave school and go to this cinema in Ilasamaja...contact cinema or so. Watched Indian films, Chinese films etc. Even then I found the singing and dancing so soppy.
I can't stand them. Damn unrealistic if u ask me.

Bollywood movies r good.
Bride and Prejudice is one of the best. Oh me gosh aishwarya rai did a great job. She is too adorable cute and sexy. She has never kissed in any of her movies. and she was Miss world for 1994. Oh me gosh i love the movie acts and scenes and everything was just perfect.
Oh, and india movie r real, that's how they act in their land. Besides they improve the image of their "poor country" by acting good movies, not like Nigeria. At least majority of the world's population knows what Bollywood movies are.. Heard anything about Nollywood?? NOpe!!!!!!!!

i love Indian Movies and their stars a lot. And boy, are they so good when it comes to cinematography?
Check out action heros like Sonnyu Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgan Mithum Chakarabothy, Anil Kapoor etc. And unforgetable flicks like 'Kranti', 'Ustadi Ustad Se', 'Loc', 'Kargil', 'khabie kushi khabie gham', 'Kaante', 'Gerafteer'.
I have personally watched more than 5000 and still counting from the days of 'Love in Tokyo'!

Oh i love indian movies all that singing, and dancing is just so kool and even though i don't like snakes they make them look so cool!!! i haven't watched one in a long time and i miss it so very much!!! it's so moving and touching and just makes u want to sing, dance or cry with them!!

[color=#990000]I started watching Indian movies in the late 80s when the likes of Amitab, Hema Malini, Dhramendra, Kashi Kapoor and Jetendra were the main actors. Lately. I've lost interest in Indian movies until l watched 'Bride and Prejudiced' in a friend's house. The performance of Aishwarya Rai was brillant and the blend of Hollywood and Bollywood has rekindled my interest in India films.
