Uba And Afribank
« on: September 15, 2006, 07:38 PM »

I'm thinking of buying UBA shares and can't seem to find any useful information about the company to make up my mind whether or not it is a good investment (forget their website, it is not investor-friendly).

Does anyone know anything about UBA? Is it a growth company? are they expanding and/or taking steps to improve market share? They claim to be the largest in Nigeria, is this true?

Guys, I need info. Just give me anything you have. And if you have any info about Afribank too, that would be welcome.

Thanks Onabajo. However I need more info. What's uba doing as per efforts to finalize the cultural aspects of the merger? Are they restructuring? downsizing staff numbers? I know they've upgraded their technology, but how far has this been able to accomplish?

Also, I wouldn't mind info on afribank.
