I heard that Microsoft is releasing a new version of the Xbox. Said to have multimedia features, built-in camera, and a few other features. Well, we'll check to see if its worth the hype, though Xbox was the bomb. I guess that's why Nintendo has postponed their release till next year.

Yeah, I noticed that at the airport actually all the machines were running windows xp which is normally very costly to purchase for so many machines.

Yes, it's 'heavy', but when you think about the amount of money they could get if they could get all companies to pay up on windows and MS Office licensing fees you realise they are doing something important (for them)

considering microsoft office premimum (the ones corperations buy) is about $1000 (N100000) for us to purchase you can see why piracy is rife.

Hence the beauty of open source. I have been using openoffice.org for a couple of years only needing to go back to microsoft office in order to use microsoft access. With the new openoffice beta 2.0 though, there is now a database program that at first glance seems as good as access. As of today, I don't have microsoft office on any of my windows machines, on my linux notebook I run openoffice. And how much does openoffice.org cost? ZERO, ZILCH,NADA, compared to paying close to £400 for a microsoft license.

M$ sucks. sony playstation rulez even among the open source community. if u don't already know, check out: http://www.playstation2-linux.comi expect something similar for the PS3. the kit was out of stock before i had a chance. |

has anyone seen or gotten d new xbox 360?? talkin about it on a more serious note!! d interface is great! But, there are sum side effects tho!!!! it freezes conditionally, getz hot real quick n' most of all d thang is unstable!!!! d'uh!! y'all getting?....my friendz xbox did nattt even turn on at all..it kept showin "no signal" n’ “error 64” talkless of playin a game on it!! Dis s*** is crap!! my onlyyy advice is 2 wait a little longer before gettin it! donee!!

that game is da bomb. i have got it but i don't play it alot cuzz i aint a game freak. its graphics is really good and the sound is amazing. im also waiting for PS3 to rock the market. imm@ add that to my collection to.

Yea, the consoles pretty good, its very multifunctional got a few games the graphics are excellent, I'm also impressed with its multimedia, plays your mp3 cd dvd u can hook it up to your windows media centre and play all your pc's collection through it wireless too!, you can also play games online, you can plug in your camera and watch all your pics through it and it does a lot more, its much more than just a gane console, its pretty good  |
