The Way I Feel About It All.
« on: September 17, 2006, 04:37 PM »

It occured to me during a mind search the hassles in Ngeria Movie Industry and felt to share my view/ask for every Nairaland'ders' point of view on this issue.

When will Ngerians start shooting thrillers, movies on research/history, get to shoot films with International recognition and standards?

I really do not know about you all, but am practically sick of what is called movies/films here. Aren't you tired of all-the same story line, same pattern, charcters (actors/actresses) and easily predictable films The Nigeria Movie Industries produce.

I just can no longer stomach the RED-TAPISM in the Nigeria Movie Industry any longer.

I would love to hear your view on this issue of La pelĂcula & Entreteniendo (Movie & Entertaining) which to the way I feel has become an issue on National/International problem.

Am still waiting for the day, they would make something that flips me skirts Tongue I don't even watch nigerian movies sorry but it was pretty much wack to me when i was growing up, and now people are saying they have improved (very skeptical and sooo not my type of movies) I want some good movies.  Gimme some good story lines (not the usual recycled bits and pieces) some good acting (i lose interest if i cannot actually see the character that is supposed to be portrayed) some good cinematography (visuals complete it for me) some good directing (This holds the movie together).

Look, the truth is this, the people can only  make choices inline with that given to them by the manufacturer (Producers),  The people could demand for love films but when you make them see reasons (through the media) behin making films have International Standards and Recognition then they start to accept that,  If you want to change their perspecive of being love and comedy based film producers it is simply by taking a bold step through making the unusual and unseen appear first on Nigeria homes and TVs then their perspective tend to change,
