wel i tink it depends on d area & time of browsing Am always on EDGE signal anytm i browse(mostly @ mushin & isolo) but d speed is no dif frm GPRS
For nw i use Zain lite n Mtn nite plan (suits me fine)

Yes, there is a data card for N8k; it is the GPRS/EDGE data card it is the 3G data card that is for abt 20K or so.

and No,

it isnt locked to Zain sim cards. I dont think any of the data cards are locked to zain sim cards

It sure does depend on the area u find urself and also how many customers are browsing at that precise moment u are in that particular area.

my guy zain data cards r locked to dia network, its d earlier ones dat were not locked( i.e d white unbranded ones)

I just started getting edge in my area, only got gprs before. I don't see any difference in speed, though edge is supposed to be faster than GPRS

Same with ma area.Edge just got there n d speed compared with dat of gprs is still pretty d same.may be will gradually upgrade it

You know its really funny cos we are happy about getting 30kbs with EDGE.
when my Nokia 7210 Supernova( not the best phone on the block Grin ) was made for
GPRS: 88kbs
EDGE: 126kbs

That means i should be loading Pages in the blink of an eye LITERALLY Grin

Just did my research on google and i didn't come up with anything kpbs. It jst so happens that my phone or any phone for that matter, can get up to that speed in kbps for GPRS (56 - 114) or EDGE (384 kbps)

Plz can smone help. I v bin trying 2 activate ma zainab, but 2 no avail. Even after sending "internet nokia 6600" to 232 some dayz ago, no reply yet. Wot do i do?
