that is what it is really designed for. . . Laptop browsing but remember that gives you just 100MB of download. I can kill that in 10 minutes with good speed.

Yes. But pc accumulates more data than phone so you probably may not use it for up to an hour and you would reach your data limit.

It was actually made for laptops and PCs; launched in september 2008; then it was introduced to mobile phone users officially as a product for them in November 2008.

i use tor with any network and it works wella!!!
no limitation!!! nothing!!!
Below is wat mtn 3.5g is capable of doing,
it gets to 130KB/secs attimes,

MTN with a 130KB/s?? I get a 200 with Zain on a steady!!! I have screen shots from the early pages of this thread so, u just might be required to dump MTN  Grin Wink

i get your point,
i get 200KB/s wit zain too (in lagos),
but unfortunately i base in i.b,
thats y i use mtn,
no zain 3G in i.b yet,
but in lag, i dump my mtn sim card in the bag

Speed also depends on your phone modem not only network provider.

E.g- An N95 would give you a far more better speed than a motorolla.

All u guys advocating 4 zain am sure u use d data sim cos mine is always on Edge. Anytym i switch 2 umts it shows 3G( i ges jst 2 tel me deres 3G coverage) b4 d signal zooms off
I cald CC & dey said 1ce am witin coverage area am supposed 2 get 3G signal weda pre- or post- paid
Dey eventually told me 2 go 2 any of dia office 2 hv my sim fixd

well it is known that only postpaid and data sim lines are on their 3G network. (also probably members of their staff.) That means prepaid lines can experience the EDGE speed and thats just the limit they gat.

It also means they are the only ones that can do video calls also.
