Hello House,i cant believe using Zain to browse on my laptop in Makwa,a village after Jebba on my way to Kaduna and it was really fast.Though,i used a tunneling software and it works fine.Right now,im in Kaduna and zain internet still rocks.its Ok now, but im not sure of next time LOL  |

Hi Honsule, ao were your exams, i wish u best of luck in all.
I changed my phone from nokia 6500clasic to 5310 and all my efforts to get zain wap service were aborted by "settings for your device are not yet available". though i still av my former phone, but i intend given it out only if i can get the new one configured, can u help out please? also, kindly remember to let me know anytime pc browsing via phone moderm can be done via your friend. (OLAOLUWA/AZEEZ)

I think they have started giving out settings to prepaid for internet.ng
u said,u think?well through what mode do they activate?or is it by going to their office?i have sent uncountable text msgs to 232 and via their site,all i get is your line has been activated,but visit the nearest zain office for a data card. |

@Honsule, I ve this USB modem browser that i formally use for glo but, the bill is crazy so, i ve to suspend it. my question now is, after putting my zain inside the modem is showing me 'E' instead of 3G that the glo always show with the username and password=gprs and APN=glosecure. What does zain use for their own? Pls help me out

Zain is not browsing for free again even when i ve credit for like four days now. Has anyone noticed that DMC is now going, i give it a try yesterday and it worked.

Well slow is the word around my area.
I have tried gpass and found it to be even slower than ultra surf.I would recommend freegate for now,their tunneler seems to be on the fast side.
My ultra surf refuses to connect most times so i did some digging and found out more about gpass and free gate,which lead to more tunneler like.
Ssh tunnel tool,gamer internet tunnel,httport,tor,hopster,proxifier,metropipe and anonmiser.
So far i've only tested gpass and freegate,but just finished downloading the others to conduct tests with them tomorrow.I'll test them out with zain,mtn,glo and etibaba.
If anyone one goes thru for other networks apart from zain,i'll let you lads know.
So for those who want fast speeds on zain,for now ultra surf,freegate and (even though i hate to say it)gpass will speed up your browsing experience.
Any one who can test all those softwares i mentioned or googled up more should please give hint to which is better than the other as against a direct connection to zain over a slow gprs coverage.

Holla Guys. Whats up! How're you guys doing? Anyway, zain has been fucking slow in my side. Tried using ultra S, ping fu iris, gpass etc, but its the same. Even on phone. Only thing that works well on phone is Yamee. SO i've switched to the yellow boiz now. Its way way faster. Make dem even finish this there promo make traffic reduce. @honsule. How exams na? If you are using a glo USB modem, it should work for Zain sim card as well.
If it is showing Edge, then it means in that area, there is probably an insignificant trace of 3G even if Glo has 3G signals in that same area.

Fast responce proxy 201.229.208.2:80 e beter pas gpass. But to login yahoo na case. Any ip to login yahoo freely? Cos zain 172.18.254.5 don die permanently
