would be nice to see 3SC vs EnYimba, Kwara Utd and Dolphins.

The league needs money to transform as the most watched league in Nigeria.

We have to get information from foreign website = kickoff.com
We dont know when the league is starting
we cant find out the schedule of the teams
We dont know players going in and coming to teams

you all know my stand on the league this league can boost of a boradcast rights of over 5 billion, and each club can make as much as 2 billion naira every season, we are just afraid to face the possibility. Danny Jordan said our league is left with men who have never seen $100Million in their lives to manage a multi-million dollars league and that is a fact. that is why you see so many banks falling because of their managers have never managed such huge amount of money; from 2Billion to more than 25Billion. Obaseki has done well but at the stage he is now he should be looking for tested expart who have done it in great leagues like the EPL and and PSL, he needs to get them to assistant in managing the league full time so that we can learn from them; that is what South Africans did and we should drop our ego and get things done, it is funny to say we have the talent that is not all that matters, we need pros; no country in the world has more talent than brazil yet they don't have the best leagues, which is what we have to understand; which is why we see 2 teams from the league still in contension for the CCL, that is not because the managers are good but because we have talents; every year we see fantastic players but we are still lacking in the area of managers, we must purge that area seriously in order to get it right.

The media does not cover anything just because it wants to copy its colleagues abroad. They broadcast programs which the public are interested in.

Hardcore fans don't support clubs in the UK just because. They're so passionate about matches because of the money they bet. Until there're proper betting  agencies in Nigeria, there will be no interest in our Football league and no network will be willing to cover the league by paying broadcast fees. Most Nigerian Television Stations in Nigeria won't even cover the matches for free.

Betting will bring interest, passion, glamour and class to our league.

Club Media Officers Call For NPL Support
Quote
Media Officers of Nigeria Premier  League clubs has called on the Nigeria Premier League board under the leadership of Chief Oyuki Obaseki to assist all the 20 media officers of the premier league clubs with items that will improved the expected quality of their responsibilities in the interest of football development in Nigeria.

The communiqué which was signed by the forum Chairman, Mr. Tonex Chukwu of Enyimba football club and secretary, Usman Abbas Shehu of Wikki Tourists FC urged the league body to provide the media officers with Laptops and cameras for effective and proper record keeping of all matches for reference purposes for both the NPL and clubs.

Sounds like leeches to me, when media officers of Private clubs start begging the National association to provide laptops for them? dont they have clubs they work for?

no, they are employed by their club, its like rooney telling the FA to buy him football boots

The NPL has its own media officers, they are there to promote the league, the club media officers are there to promote their clubs
if they want freebies for their girlfriends they should go to get more sponsors omatek computer village etc tey can even visit DELL or sony if they
are really competent enough!!

who is the highest goal scorer in the last season?

@ Dis Guy

I support your position on the issue of laptop, it is ridiculous and this has been the reason why I want these clubs to be commercialized; laptop! haba these guys are funny, how much is a laptop, for only 50K one can get a good one; is that what a club that employ more than 50 people cannot buy? we must tell ourselves the truth; this is the joke of the year. these clubs should source for fund from the public and the only way this could be done is when they privatise.
