"JUJU" Assistance To Get a Job (is It Possible?) by TafaDauda: 2:20pm On Feb 27, 2009
A friend who recently secured a job in a bank here in Lagos told me he relied on power of Juju to : a). Make his job application accepted at first submission. b). Called up for an interview and c). Secure the job where he has just received his second salary. I found it hard to believe but because of the saying "everything is possible in Nigeria", I find it pertinent to ask my fellow Nairalanders. Is it possible? shocked

Is this a joke or what?. If juju could help him, why didn't he aim for a higher job like a diplomat or something?

Its no joke o!!

The juju does not work by your will. When you come we will look at your C.V and gauge your destiny, then decide your job. If not a weac holder can do juju for Senator job or even M.D of Shell Nigeria.

Now let me ask your righteousness, would you use Jazz if you knew you were guaranteed to land any job of your choice, with high pay and stuff??

He did not reveal his friends name and he may never do that. Even if he does, what proof has he? Abeg i like this thread. It "opens our eyes" to what a little few may have known all this while.

The problem is that our so called juju has never lead us to good ways, instead of using our supernatural powers to benefit each others but we are using it to harm ourselfs. seriously juju dey sha smiley

Since you know about using Juju to "stay put", you should also know that juju can be used to "get in" in the first place.

Using JUJU to stay put implies, trying to frame or kill other people

I beg to disagree. Does Juju mean killing or framing people? That's not the juju I know. Juju means using what you have to get what you need (justly) It's only the bad people that mis-apply it and it affects them badly too.
Re: "JUJU" Assistance To Get a Job (is It Possible?) by Nobody: 8:14pm On Feb 27, 2009

Let me put it this way. . . .

Thats not the juju you know
, you answer your own question

so i wonder why you still have to "beg" to disagree.

Pls be enlightened guys
Re: "JUJU" Assistance To Get a Job (is It Possible?) by Thadude(m): 8:58pm On Feb 27, 2009
This is crazy!, Juju is a secret fraud that has been on for yrs!, Juju can be simply defined as the power of the mind, body and soul. Yes each of us have that power. It has to do with believing ur self first, the babalawo helps us to believe ourselves because we believe him.
Whatever u put ur mind towards and crown with hardwork you shall surely achieve simple as ABC.
*Take USA visa as an example. It is gotten by luck which the mind can act upon greatly. But if a babalawo gives u a cream to rub ur face and go to the embassy, then u re issued a visa u will think the guy is very powerful there by increasing ur believe.
*Another example is the drug peddlers, do you guys think they dont use juju??, then the big question is, what happened to their juju when they were caught, The fact that they did 3 trips and narrowly escaped was luck and lack of forensic technology to stop them, but these guys take it to be the power of juju and grow in confidence. Instead of them to stop the trade while they can they hold on to the believe of juju till they are caught and then they keep asking themselves "wht didnt i do right wit the juju that has been saving me?". Thats the irony of it all. Perharps a better word for JUJU is LUCK, and that luck can come to pass when we concentrate on it, with the power of our mind.

Since USA donated a airport security system to Nigeria, JUJU has not been working, The NDLEA has been recording high arrest, the few onces who scale thro, do that after greasing the palms of corrupt officials.
So dont allow one Old dirtyman trick u in discovering ur luck when he cant even discover his luck.

You are right to an extent but let me also inform you that "REAL" juju dey for that naija o!  Though kwe kwe (fraudulent) juju people don overshadow the real people wey get and till today still dey practice juju well well.  As a result, not too many people believe in the existence of juju, hence it's mostly considered a myth.  The sad part of the whole thing is that most of these people use juju for mainly evil and selfish acts, which I don't think was the main intent of the juju founding fathers.  Though I won't advice anyone to follow the poster's friend's route cause to me you're only going to shoot yourself in the foot in the long run if you use juju to secure a job you're probabaly not qualified for in the first place.  Just my $0.02.  Peace!

Getting a job some time his by the grace of God. Look , you can not g too oyigbo country and you expect them to hand over thier jobs to you. They would not give you easy.

I find many nigeria coming here and look at the society you are, what goes on, If you look at all you find in the city is food store, and residence houses and bank which use machine. and you expect them to give you a job that they do not have.

Each country have is job demand. They may claim all form of job in thier country, but some time it is a lie.   A city with too many residence houses is only good for estate . city with too many old people , you know that city is for nurses.
Re: "JUJU" Assistance To Get a Job (is It Possible?) by Thadude(m): 9:14pm On Feb 27, 2009
@Gamaine,

Yes they would die, but tht is not juju, that is wickedness and U dont need babalawo to do that perharps the right person for that are the doctors, and chemist. cos they know all poisonous drugs. Its because we dont have forensic lab. in Nigeria, if not with a test of the hair poisons consumed will be revealed even after death and can be traced. Our hair is a reflection of what we consume but alot of us dont know that!, The most commonly used poison in Nigeria is potassium (kawo) these babalawo they ground it and ask their client to administered it to the victim's food. While potassium is good for the body it is bad when consumed in large quantities. It kills by sequeezing the heat, that is why sometimes why people poisoned with it go to the doctor, they usually dont discover any illness in them and treat it like headache or fever. A Forensic laboratory is required for the detection and major test will involve hair testing.
