Hi Chikend, have you been able to obtain an answer to your enquiry. I have a similar problem,I will like to be able to use other sims (Zain, Etisalat, Glo) on my MTN sharkpod which also uses the fastlink interface, but it appears the device is locked to only MTN sims. My respose: The MTN fastlink is a no-go area for other sims, . .
But u can always use the ZAIN modem for other sims. .
-we done with this. .

Its d early set of zain modems( white) dat can accept dif sims . . . .d recent branded 1(black) is also a no-go area

Yes it can be used, just go to profile management then create a new profile type in zain's internet apn, uname&pwd which is internet, click advanced uncheck all auth protocols thats it save and connect, remember you have to choose static to edit your apn and your sim must be activated for internet. Thats it I hoped I helped.
