Why is it amazing? Throughout the ages, mankind puts a face on an image that is closest to him. Look at images of the Buddha and you will see the same - there are Indian Buddhas, Chinese Buddhas, Thai Buddhas etc. But take what you know using logic. Just as the Buddha was born in Northern India and so had Northern Indian features so Christ would have looked like a native of his area.  |

Re the above highlight. That's why I picture him (based on scriptures) as a dark skinned, dark haired man, thin and tall. How one man can have so many faces, eh? Isn’t it ironic that Jesus walked this earth yet nobody knows for sure what He looked like? It’s quite obvious that these paintings are based on the ethnicity of the painter and not an actual portrait of Jesus Christ. Two words come to mind . . .False Images 1 love |

I think what all these pictures show is that, jesus was nothing but a myth, a great story about unselfish love but it's still fiction. He's not going to appear in the clouds and take you to some magical place.

Tpia, thanks for the laugh. I haven’t laughed so much in a long time. Actually, this is the first time I have laughed for 5 minutes non stop. Trust me, you should do Stand-Up comedy. A response like this will definitely give Cedric the Entertainer a run for his money.  Ahe, Ahe, Ahe Wahahahahaha Seriously, do we know what Jesus really looked like? The only thing we know is that He was Jewish. (Keep in mind all Jews are not blue-eyes, blond hair) I guess back then folks were interested in His messages rather than His looks – hence no paintings/sketches of Him  1love |
