Why Do People Close Their Eyes When Kissing?

 

don't mind them jare Allonym, kissing has nofing to do with openning or closing ur eyes, these people are just falling into the cliches of their time, why do i have to close my eyes when i don't feel like. during my first expereience as a 15 year-old lad i also closed my eyes because the girl did the same and i knew that she was more experienced than me bu after that i decided to wisen-up and respect ma feeling by not closing my eyes and i realised that i enjoyed it more when i opened ma eyes.Infact kissing has nothing to do with opening or closing yor eyes ,its just a matter of you being in love with someone and showing it.
                                                  Be youself open your eyes or close it.

Lets just conclude that there are 2 sets of people in this forum. 1.Romantic. 2.Non Romantic set 1 close their eyes while set 2 don't.I belong to set 1.

Kissing with eyes wide open is not romantic!

There are obviously two sets of people posting in this topic. Reading the replies brought to mind the fight betwen the Lilliputians and the Blefescuans on the right way to crack an egg. Based on that, I think we have the "open-eyed-kissers" and the "closed-eyed-kissers". I haven't kissed anyone before but I think I'D love to keep my eyes open while doing so, 

When you look into the eyes of someone while kissing her [him], I think it heightens the passion. It's kind of, "here I am staring into the beautiful eyes of the [, ] I'm kissing." If you feel you have ugly eyes [red from ogogoro or something] then close them. Eye contact is important -- at least I think so.

Do your kissers normally shut his/her eyes? Or keep them open like you? If they're shut, what do you look at? Just wondering.

Oh, no I wasn't saying a person can only look into the eyes. As a woman or as myself, I can't see much past the man's faceyes, I've snuck a peekso that's why I asked.

Ha! You get what I mean. Anyhow, maybe kissing w/ eyes open isn't so weird or rare. Look ----->  She's doing it.

it just happens. if u know u are closing your eyes, then it is bad. it shld just happen, without u actually closing it.

Kissing with eyes closed is simply an expression of enjoyment with passion and not always love.
