???I don't know about that speed but just try getting connected first before u talk of speed. The mobile internet modem connects at 53.6 kilobytes per second so where is that speed. Take note that Zain has deployed 2G equipment and can only achieve the speed you refer to in their imagination for now. Another thing is to be careful if you want to have wap connection. Zain has not resolved if to be addressed as Zain or Celtel in  their Access Point Name. Talk of a confused organisation!

Not a baseless assumption. I use the Zain E220 modem outside Lagos and Abuja so my statement not "assumption" is based  on practice not TV advert.

You obviously dont know a thing abt the product you bought and the service provider you subscribed to.

First of all you have to read different threads on this forum to understand access point name having zain or celtel. I see you are very new here.

APNs containing celtel and zain will still connect. celtel is wap over 2.5 and zain is wap over 3g or 3.5g if they have it.

When they say the 7.2Mb/s, they mean the cap modem speed for the device. Even MTN's device has that as cap but do they attain that at anytime? no and thats because it is shared. I have got to abt 180kb/s and I posted the screen shot earlier.

That is how much I can tell u. U need more info, go back to earlier threads instead of ranting  Grin

That guy is too belligerent which i think in his own case is due to paranoia and a delusional mind. You need to talk to someone like a shrink. He claims to be brilliant and responsible but lacks tolerance or is it due to the global financial crunch. Please don't take it out on someone. Huh

I have warned you to keep your distance. I will unleash on you if i will.

What's between me and fly is between us, u dont know the history. Keep to yourself

Meanwhile I dont see u posting any help on this thread. if u can mind your business, I will give u full assistance in doing so.

Did u hear fly complaining? So keep to urself! If you cannot post any help on the mobile internet, just zip it up, read what other people have posted and move along.

And I never mentioned I am intelligent you just made that conclusion, I dont know why and dont care.

Bottom line; if you cant say anything to help the thread stay tacit

Meanwhile it is confirmed that there isnt provisioning going on with zain lines for now till sunday. So you get the settings, it aint useful until sunday when u can get your line provisioned.

Plus I hear if you get the mobile internet within this period, by the zain/diamond bank/HP bundle, you get 2 months ; aint that beautiful?
