@D-Explorer: When I connect my Pc quite what I get is local only under the connection status. How does this impact on the ability to receive more bytes than sent bytes on the speed?

@ all i need help.
my system is asking for BIOS password
when i put it on it shows a blue windows
"POWER-ON PASSWORD"
how do i by-pass the password?
a technician opened it and removed a battery which he thought
was the cmos battery but the system starts without the battery
and retains the cmos setting how do i go about it
the technician also asked that if he could see the BIOS number and version
it might help so if any one also know the bios version they can post it here.
The system is HP 6715s i really need help.

Refer to your motherboard manual. There's pins on your board to "jump" the Bios Password.

Some systems have their BIOS password protected. Often done with office machines, because they don't want anyone to mess with the BIOS. You can remove the password by moving a jumper on the MB. The jumper is 3 pronged and located close to the BIOS battery. Sometimes it is labeled as BIOS or Pwd. Move the jumper to the other 2 prongs and you password protection will be gone.

@insongrata
Local conn. is d conn. established 2ur home network. your speed is dependent on your network nd their platform e.g 3g, edge etc. your amt of bytes 2b receƬv'd nd speed nd also conn. type (pc suite, bluetooth etc) determines d time taken 4u 2receive your bytes. Bt bluetooth conn. type is faster.
Hweva, if u r looking 2enhance your speed, u can go for a dwnloading booster or a tunnelling software.
Damn, wat did i just write.
