Manchester United will host Internazionale Milano in their 2nd leg last 16 UCL clash at Old Trafford, 19.45 GMT.
Score line stands 0 - 0 on aggregate, with both teams unable to score any goals in their first meeting at the San Siro. Manchester United are in flying form, despite being unable to put any goals past Inter's Julio Cesar in their last clash. Play was excellent with United being the better side, but there were no goals. Now United have a final chance to seal the deal with Inter and forge ahead. Their FA Cup 4 - 0 thrashing of Fulham on Saturday further speaks of the team's readiness to take on the current Serie A title holders and bury some goals this time around. Sir Alex has got most of his players fit, with Wes Brown, Rafael Silva and Owen Hargreaves only on the injury list.
Internazionale Milano are ready to take on Manchester United and defeat them, if their gaffer's statements are anything to go by. Jose Mourinho has appeared quite confident of his team's ability to defeat United at home, despite being unable to get a goal against the Red Devils in their first clash. However Jose has been hit with defensive injury worries. Inter won 2-0 at Genoa thanks to goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mario Balotelli but Marco Materazzi went off with a leg injury and Nicolas Burdisso also took a knock (Leg/Knee injury). Both will definitely miss Wednesday night's clash. Cristian Chivu and Walter Samuel are struggling to be fit for Wednesday's last-16 second leg at United but the performance of midfielder Esteban Cambiasso as a makeshift centre back has eased Mourinho's worries a lot. If the injuries do not clear Ivan Cordoba would be available as well as Nelson Rivas, who started the 0-0 draw with United in the first leg but was substituted at halftime and was poor in Wednesday's 3-0 Italian Cup defeat at Sampdoria. Talk about reverse fortune. . .during the first leg it was United having defensive issues. . .now it's Inter Milan.
Mourinho is facing an Italian federation charge after lambasting his Serie A rivals and referees during the week. He never stops talking, does he?

• The holders are unbeaten in 18 matches at Old Trafford in the competition proper dating back more than four years. That said, Inter coach José Mourinho has more reason than most to travel with confidence, given he has suffered just one defeat in five previous visits to play United with former clubs Porto and Chelsea.
• Inter striker Zlatan Ibrahimović has never scored a goal in European competition after Christmas.
• By avoiding defeat in Milan in the first leg United set a new competition record of 20 matches without defeat.
